Assistant Accountant Apprentice

Bookkeeping using computer software to record financial transactions Preparing VAT returns for business clients Preparing business accounts and supporting schedules Preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses Preparing monthly payrolls for business clients General administrative duties

Training:

The successful applicant will receive a combination of on-the-job training and one day a week at college (during term time), working towards the AAT qualification. We will fund your training and pay your full salary, including for the days you attend college. You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship by an experienced and supportive team, learning the fundamentals of bookkeeping, accounting standards, personal and business tax.



Training Outcome:

Following completion of the apprenticeship the right candidate may be offered a position as a permanent member of staff.

Having trained with a leading local practice before joining a major regional firm, Old Mill, Simon Hartley uses his broad experience to deliver proactive accountancy, taxation and strategic advice.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30.
