Property Maintenance Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting Skilled Trades

Support experienced tradespeople including carpenters, plumbers, decorators and general builders across varied property maintenance tasks

Routine Repairs & Upkeep

Help with day-to-day maintenance and small repair works, such as fixing fittings, replacing tiles, repairing doors, patching walls and maintaining finishes

Health & Safety Awareness

Follow site safety procedures at all times, wear the appropriate PPE and help maintain clean, tidy, and hazard-free work areas

Multi-Trade Exposure

Learn a wide range of practical skills including basic carpentry, plumbing, plaster patching, painting, and fault-finding on occupied and unoccupied properties

Use of Tools & Materials

Gain experience in the safe use of hand and power tools and develop an understanding of the materials used in property maintenance

Working Across Sites

Travel to different job locations with the team (transport provided if needed), helping on live refurbishment sites, occupied buildings, or scheduled maintenance jobs

Supporting Documentation & Communication

Assist with recording tasks, completing basic job sheets or site notes, and learning how to interact professionally with clients and colleagues

Training Outcome:
