Apprenticeship - Vanderlande

Your responsibilities and activities will include:

Comply with all health and safety rules and regulations Ensuring a top condition of the various installations Responsible for performing malfunction and maintenance work as well as carrying out preventive and periodic maintenance, in collaboration with colleagues Resolving mechanical, electrical and any control technical faults Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you will apply for a service technician role within Vanderlande

Training:

Engineering Manufacturing Technician Level 4.

This apprenticeship benefits benefit from a Hybrid delivery, with physical practical learning delivered onsite every 6 weeks and theory learning delivered via our virtual college on a weekly basis

Achieved by remotely attending 1 day per week for 2 academic years.

Training Outcome:

Full-time service technician position. 

Employer Description:
Vanderlande is the market leader in efficient logistics process automation within the airports, warehousing and parcel sector. This role will see the successful applicant joining a small team of experienced engineers to support a major UK airline with their retail operations. The business is charged with ensuring outbound flights have the retail stock on board to ensure customer delight and to process returned stock. To do this efficiently they have invested heavily in automated warehousing solutions from Vanderlande and ensuring the safe, efficient and high quality maintenance of that equipment is the responsibility of the onsite Vanderlande team.

Working Hours :
To be confirmed but some shift work to be worked to ensure access to all tasks required to complete apprenticeship.
