Casual Support Assistant - Learning Disabilities - Bury Are you a passionate, dedicated Casual Support Assistant looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Casual Support Assistant to join a team based in a supported employment service for young people and adults with Learning Disabilities. Pay: £11.39 - £14.22 per hourDuration: 3 months initially Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:30 - 15:30 – Office based/ community workCasual Support Assistant role: Full JD Available
Supported employment service for young people and adults with Learning Disabilities, helping to find employmentWork alongside in a community café or bowling greensAssess their skills and identify where development is needed, to result in paid workWork on enhancing life skills - independent living skills, reaching potentialSupport with their confidence if needed1-1 basis or a small groupHelp to find employment that is suitable for themMake notes on work done and progressAttend meetings and reviews on progress where necessary
Essential Requirements
Experience in employment coachingRecent experience working with young people/ adults with Learning DisabilitiesUnderstanding and ability to build work skills/ independent living skillsMust have a nurturing approachGood written and verbal communication skillsYou Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UKEnhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service
