GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Building Sciences team will participate in different projects with various scopes of work. The Field Engineer is responsible for the organization, research, and documentation of cross-departmental assignments supporting the continued growth and operations of Pure Air Control Services, a Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc. division.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the Building Sciences Project Manager with test and balance research, consultation, operations policy generation, and quality issues. Adjust systems controls to settings recommended by the vendor, conduct measurement tests, and discuss system malfunctions with system users to isolate the problems. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports. Coordinate with multi-disciplined teams, including sales personnel and field team, to develop a scope of work and estimate the cost of a project. Organize material and complete reports according to pre-defined standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology. Evaluate current processes and develop innovative approaches for improvement. Write and develop in-house training materials supporting the staff and franchise partners. Contacts and communicates directly with all levels of company management, staff members, and clients.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Industry certificates are preferred but not required. Ability to obtain Engineer Intern certification preferred but not required. Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field (preferred) 3+ years of experience in the HVAC industry, including Test and Balance or Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems. Familiarity with current building, energy, and mechanical codes and standards. Understanding of Indoor Air Quality and how it affects the building occupants. Understanding of HVAC design principles, including heating load, air change, and ventilation requirements, and applying different HVAC systems (Constant volume, VAV, 100% OA, ERV units, etc.). Understanding of HVAC engineering fundamentals, including load calculations, conceptual systems analysis through construction documentation design, equipment design and layout, and duct and pipe sizing. Customer service oriented. Proficient computer skills and strong technical writing skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Well organized and possess superior time management abilities to support several projects simultaneously. Self-motivated and self-directed while remaining a team player. To provide a full range of administrative and technical support within the Electoral Services Section in the work of compiling and maintaining the registers of electors, administering elections and referendums, and other electoral matters.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To work independently and as a team member, to develop administrative and practical support skills providing a high level of accuracy for administrative responsibilities.
To assist in the accurate compilation and alteration of registers of electors in accordance with statutory provisions and local procedures.

With support of management, keep abreast of changes in electoral law and practice; changes due to electoral reviews and service developments, and be fully involved in the implementation of necessary changes.
To be aware of the high standard of data quality expected in the council, and to maintain an accurate and full written record of activity as required by the line manager, passing records on for data recording/input within the agreed timescales.
To ensure that Corporate and Departmental health and safety policies are implemented at all times and to raise any concerns regarding their operation, or any other health and safety matters with the Electoral Services Manager.
To undertake all duties and interactions with customers and employees fairly, without unlawful discrimination and with due regard to the Council’s Diversity and Equality in Employment and Service Delivery policies.
To ensure that duties are undertaken with due regard to; and compliance with the Data Protection Act and other related legislation.

The Role
Working as a Property Solicitor or Property Executive within the Specialist and Commercial Property team based at their Preston office, you will manage a varied caseload of:
- commercial property transactions including freehold/leasehold sales and purchase, refinance, SIPP transactions;

Responsibilities

- Approving legal titles
- Preparing freehold and leasehold reports for clients and lenders
- Raising necessary enquiries and dealing with replies to enquiries

My client is looking for an experience RTA legal Executive to conduct litigated and non-litigated personal injury claims where the value is up to £25,000 in an efficient and proactive manner up to a successful conclusion.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Proactively and efficiently run a caseload that will consist of OIC and MOJ RTA claims with the intention of maximising damagers for our client by considering and pursuing all relevant heads of loss.
- To identify and flag vulnerable clients from the outset and flag any vulnerability on the system, accurately record why those vulnerabilities have required extra time, care, and attention when you speak to the client.
- To obtain all relevant and necessary evidence (medical or otherwise) to establish liability and value quantum ensuring that you follow departmental practice of which agency to instruct.
- To carry out due diligence of your clients at key stages in the case and ensure clients are fully warned about fraud and fundamental dishonesty at key stages using standard letters and processes in our system.
- Instruct Counsel, attend conferences, Court hearings, JSMs etc, when necessary either in person or remotely
- To ensure clear and unequivocal instructions are obtained from any relevant lay and/or Litigation Friend and/or insurance clients and that they are fully documented.
- Achieve and exceed various targets set in relation to WIP, fee income, settlements, closure and issuing.
- To ensure clients are kept informed and up to date on a regular basis throughout the life of the claim by proactive communication.
- To ensure that correct retainers and rates are sent to the client, that costs estimates are updated annually, and retainer rates reviewed regularly.
- To ensure that all evidence is closely scrutinised and stressed checked and cross referenced to all other evidence of both the Claimant and Defendant for inconsistencies.
- Discuss liability and/or quantum offers with the relevant parties, making use of the telephone rather than letter whenever possible to build a stronger client rapport.
- To assist with any internal projections or mentoring of staff that your manager or HOD deems appropriate for you to assist with.
Experience & Knowledge
- A Solicitor, ILEX qualified or file handler of substantial experience of running their own caseload within the personal injury field.
- A proven track record of running your own successful caseload ideally within a claimant personal injury environment.
- A good working knowledge of the CPR, relevant case law and legislation as well as experience of progressing claims in a timely manner in accordance with the CPR.
- To understand the Intermediate Track Fixed Fee regime introduced in October 2023.
- The ability to liaise and build up a rapport by using effective communication with all external agencies during the life of a claim including medical agencies, investigators, barristers etc.
- Good IT skills with a sound working knowledge of VF or a similar case management system and essential MS Office knowledge.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The WTI Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) oversees and performs the safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI field service business. Safety is our primary priority and will be embedded into every discussion, meeting, and project. As the clear and established leader of the WTI crew, the Foreman is focused on safety, crew management, and efficient execution of all WTI projects assigned within their respective region. It is the Foreman's responsibility to deliver timely service to all WTI customers and manage exposure to risks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct the daily onsite safety brief before the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer, and the WTI crew. Inspect and ensure all surroundings, equipment, and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns. Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit it to the Supervisors as applicable. Foreman also ensures that all technicians complete Daily Hazard Analysis. Ensure all project communication is completed before the start of any WTI project. This includes but is not limited to communication with: WTI Field Resources Supervisor (Supervisor) daily and before starting new projects (ensure any/all communication with the Sales Reps is also shared with the Supervisor. Monitor and manage the Field Reps. Consult with the Supervisor to take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee work-related issues and necessary documentation. Work with the Supervisor to elevate the issues to HR as required. Coordinate with the Supervisor to create project schedules. Review time reports daily and make necessary corrections with the admin team. Attending all appropriate calls, meetings, and trainings. Perform any other duties and/or projects as required or assigned by the Supervisor or Regional Business Manager.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to travel out of town, including overnight stays. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to work weekends and/or holidays when needed. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test. Ability to read, write, and speak English. 30-hour OSHA certification Registered Roof Observer (RRO) preferred but not required.
