Pick, pack and label orders for shipment
Prepare domestic and international shipping documents for LTL, FTL and small parcel shipments per customer requirements
Schedule shipping/receiving activities with transportation providers for pick up/delivery
Unload and load trailers
Communicate closely with purchasing, sales, and quality
Handle basic administrative duties such as data entry and archive records
Maintain inventory and storage areas in organized and efficient manner
Work with various systems and scanning technology (ERP, WMS, UPS/FedEx, TMS, bar tender, etc.)
Participate in inventory counts and reconciliations
Look for and facilitate process improvements
Operate a reach truck, forklift or other material handling equipment
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ensure that all job cards are submitted back with all relevant data recorded, a foreman signature recorded for validation and then process them for payment to the customer via the RAMS I.T system
Ensure all inspection records & legal certification is sent to the appropriate customer within 24 hours of being received / completed
Ensure the accurate input of vehicle fleet defects and that they are appropriately signed off by the repairing agent/technician as well as communicated to the customer
Ensure the customer is kept fully informed of work in progress (WIP) and any potential delays or unexpected work / increase in costs

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide support to the People Services Function in an assistant capacity in relation to areas such as recruitment and selection, employee relations, learning and development and culture and engagement. This will include a specific focus on activity relating to recruitment and selection.

Training:
The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated work- based trainer who will provide support and guidance throughout the course.
Before the Standard is met, all apprentices must hold a certificate that meets the EU’s 2014 F-gas regulation.
This Apprenticeship requires attendance for classroom-based sessions once per week at the Grimsby Institute Campus, Nuns Corner, Grimsby, DN345AB.
