Taking apart and inspection of dies with sliding hydraulic / manual cores.

Manufacturing jigs and fixtures.
Taking apart and inspection of shear tools.
Manufacturing punches and core pins from drawings.
Assembly of shot stems and tips.
Knowledge of hydraulic cylinders and the ability to re-seal and check safely.
Removal of solder from dies on DCM
Welding repairs on die breakout inside DCM.
Changing broken core pins on the die casting machine.
Changing broken shear tool punches on the DCM.
Reinserting cavities and slide cores into bolsters.
Fitting new inserts, spreaders and bushes.
