The duties and responsibilities of the role will include general office administration duties including archiving and document storage, Filing, scanning, photocopying and organising QHSE documentation, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal policies related to data protection and storage.In your role you will;
Monitor, control, amend, update and improve policies, procedures and work instructions
Assist in maintaining QHSE management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, etc.)
Work alongside the QHSE manager to carry out internal audits of the IMS
Help monitor and record workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments
Work with all company department leads in completing customer self-assessment documents
Support investigations into incidents, accident and near misses
Participate in Toolbox Talks, safety briefings and training sessions
Maintain documentation such as statements, COSHH assessments and quality records
Promote a strong safety culture and help drive continuous improvement initiatives
Liaise with various departments to ensure compliance with QHSE policies
Assist with fire marshal meetings, organising fire drills, ensuring weekly alarm tests are carried out, and ensuring fire procedures are up-to-date and amended as necessary
Liaise with warehouse management team to ensure that monthly internal racking inspections are being carried out, documented and actioned
In this role, proactive positive relationships with colleagues accross the business are key, you will;
Liaise with all levels within the Company affording the same level of service and courtesy to all colleagues
Ensure effective working relationships and co-ordination to provide necessary information for accounting purposes
Establish excellent interface with all customers/suppliers as required to ensure the timely identification of disputed invoices
Plus any other tasks deemed appropriate to job requirements.Training:
All training will take place in the workplace, there will be no day release to College required
You will be assigned an assessor who will visit you in the workplace every 8 weeks to support you on your apprenticeship

As part of this apprenticeship, you'll work towards a Production Chef - Level 2 qualification. The training will be delivered in the form of work-based learning and will include functional skills.

We are looking for an Investment Governance Manager to join the team at a boutique financial services firm. The successful candidate will focus on managing client relationships, and the selection and oversight of suitable investment consultants and fiduciary managers.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced candidate with strong investment knowledge and client relationship experience.
This role is hybrid 2-3 days in the office, and is flexible on location (Edinburgh, London, Manchester, Bristol), and will involve travel to London if based elsewhere.
Skills/Experience:
Pension scheme and investment experience with seven to ten years’ experience.
Proactive, self-starter with the ability to focus on the tactical implementation of that strategy for the firm.
Ability to communicate effectively, strong relationship and presentation skills, good written skills, appropriate MS and data tool skills and emotionally intelligent.
Ideally working towards or already qualified in IMC/CFA for example
Ability to interpret investment data, performance metrics, and fee structures.

My client is looking for an experience RTA legal Executive to conduct litigated and non-litigated personal injury claims where the value is up to £25,000 in an efficient and proactive manner up to a successful conclusion.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Proactively and efficiently run a caseload that will consist of OIC and MOJ RTA claims with the intention of maximising damagers for our client by considering and pursuing all relevant heads of loss.
- To identify and flag vulnerable clients from the outset and flag any vulnerability on the system, accurately record why those vulnerabilities have required extra time, care, and attention when you speak to the client.
- To obtain all relevant and necessary evidence (medical or otherwise) to establish liability and value quantum ensuring that you follow departmental practice of which agency to instruct.
- To carry out due diligence of your clients at key stages in the case and ensure clients are fully warned about fraud and fundamental dishonesty at key stages using standard letters and processes in our system.
- Instruct Counsel, attend conferences, Court hearings, JSMs etc, when necessary either in person or remotely
- To ensure clear and unequivocal instructions are obtained from any relevant lay and/or Litigation Friend and/or insurance clients and that they are fully documented.
- Achieve and exceed various targets set in relation to WIP, fee income, settlements, closure and issuing.
- To ensure clients are kept informed and up to date on a regular basis throughout the life of the claim by proactive communication.
- To ensure that correct retainers and rates are sent to the client, that costs estimates are updated annually, and retainer rates reviewed regularly.
- To ensure that all evidence is closely scrutinised and stressed checked and cross referenced to all other evidence of both the Claimant and Defendant for inconsistencies.
- Discuss liability and/or quantum offers with the relevant parties, making use of the telephone rather than letter whenever possible to build a stronger client rapport.
- To assist with any internal projections or mentoring of staff that your manager or HOD deems appropriate for you to assist with.
Experience & Knowledge
- A Solicitor, ILEX qualified or file handler of substantial experience of running their own caseload within the personal injury field.
- A proven track record of running your own successful caseload ideally within a claimant personal injury environment.
- A good working knowledge of the CPR, relevant case law and legislation as well as experience of progressing claims in a timely manner in accordance with the CPR.
- To understand the Intermediate Track Fixed Fee regime introduced in October 2023.
- The ability to liaise and build up a rapport by using effective communication with all external agencies during the life of a claim including medical agencies, investigators, barristers etc.
- Good IT skills with a sound working knowledge of VF or a similar case management system and essential MS Office knowledge.
