JOB DESCRIPTION Commercial Roofing Foreman Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conduct the daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer and the WTI Crew. Inspect and ensure all surroundings, equipment and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns. JOB DESCRIPTION GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Is responsible for managing all Self-Perform Projects and the associated customers (Including GC and large-scale P&R, TremCare, etc). This involves working with the Project Foreman, Superintendent, Construction Manager, and Sales Reps associated with the project, to ensure delivery on time and within budget. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Schedule and manage self-perform crews via daily interaction and oversight of the crew foreman. When subcontractors are necessary or present on the majority of self-perform projects, act as a liaison to the CM for boots-on-the-ground subcontractor oversight (as needed). Implement and understand project administration requirements. Create, update, and communicate project schedules and updates. Control expectations and challenges to keep the project on schedule and running efficiently. Ensure quality control and quality management of all scope items. Verify that all project work complies with contract documents. Be responsible for resolving project issues and problems, providing coordination between self-perform crews, subcontractors, Sales Reps, and owner operations, ensuring specifications are followed according to Tremco standards. Ensure the region's profitability by effectively managing the team and processes using available tools, including collaboration with the RBM. Generate reports on project status and ensure owner satisfaction. Aid in the takeoff of opportunities and creation of scope and quantity specifics for project opportunities, as needed. Regional Business Manager - Commercial Roofing
JOB DESCRIPTION GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Regional Business Manager (RBM) is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of their assigned region, which includes, but is not limited to, setting strategic direction, providing customer service and sales support, managing regional personnel, ensuring regional profitability and performance, and contributing to a culture of teamwork and quality. The RBM will serve as the liaison for the region and coordinate communications with all levels of staff within WTI and Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance. The RBM will maintain and enhance customer relationships, providing face-to-face business support and services. The RBM will also work with field and sales personnel to achieve continuous improvement initiatives and promote synergies between sales and WTI. Assigned regions are subject to change based on business needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct region's WTI personnel and work cross-functionally with other Tremco and WTI external and internal departments to maximize efforts and results in sales, compliance, safety, and profitability. Serve as a liaison between headquarters and the field to ensure effective two-way communication and achieve positive results. Develop an ongoing strategy to manage and grow existing business within existing markets and with all new strategic markets developed by WTI or Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance management. Assess daily operational situations to identify potential crisis management, safety, and escalation protocols. Determine solutions to project issues, including but not limited to field resource management, workload balance, job site conditions, and product management issues. Must have prior hands-on experience with handling business transactions, procedures, and practices, including but not limited to pricing, company vehicles, safety, order entry, estimating, general contracting procedures, designation and duties of employees, warranties, quality assurance practices, service offerings, etc. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Can service customers in a compliant and financially solvent manner. Consult with WTI Field Resource Supervisor and Human Resources as needed. Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Supervisor and/or Regional Manager. Ensure profitability within the region by monitoring and managing employee expenses for accuracy and abuse, use of overtime hours, and all full-time personnel's billable time to meet the required percentage. The Supervisor should stress the profitability factor to all field personnel. Field all questions and concerns from the Field Reps and handle all discrepancies between the Field Reps and the Sales Reps. Conduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, text message, voicemail, or in person) with the customers, Sales Reps, field staff, and internal company personnel on all work-related matters. Ensure all Field Reps will have a professional appearance and demeanor while completing services for a customer. JOB DESCRIPTION GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The CM Development Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the CM Associate program, developing Construction Management Associates for rapid advancement into Construction Manager positions. This position will create a program curriculum to enhance roofing and contractor safety knowledge, technical roofing expertise, and roofing field-related tasks and processes, thereby helping familiarize the CM Associate with existing WTI construction processes and procedures. This position is also responsible, but not limited to, evaluating candidates for both entry into the program and advancement to other positions within the existing program. This position will also help develop and maintain relationships with Construction Management programs, in conjunction with recruiting efforts, to create a pipeline for future CM Associates in regions throughout the country. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Create a technical roofing curriculum using existing Tremco University classes. Create a schedule for achievement for the CM Associates to work through technical education consistently. Create a process, within existing estimating guidelines, to have line item proposals for material only and small PR work completed by CM Associates directly within the region. Create timelines and review the process with Estimating Leadership to determine how it will be facilitated. Act as a liaison between the WTI Leadership, corporate, and the sales force to understand feedback for improvements, new initiatives, and how to improve the overall program design. Develop an ongoing strategy to manage the future CM Associate pipeline based on the resource needs of the WTI business. Collaborate with WTI Leadership to identify future resource needs and develop timelines for implementing CM Associate resources to support growth. Assess daily operational situations for crisis management, safety, and escalation protocol. Determine solutions to project issues, including but not limited to, field tasks, process questions, workload balance, job site conditions, product management issues, etc. Travel to job sites as needed to provide support to CM Associate resources.
