The team: Advice and Guidance Team We know the first call or conversation can be the most difficult for those living with abuse. We also know some people just want information about how agencies can help. Working across the Black Country, the team will receive and take referrals from individuals and agencies, assess the immediate needs of victims, provide safety advice as well as work with other agencies. We are looking for someone who can manage a caseload, providing support to victims/survivors within a fast-paced environment. The Role: This role will be responsible for delivering an effective trauma-informed approach of first contact, care and support to clients who are victims/survivors of abuse. The postholder will provide immediate high-quality information, advice and guidance to victims of domestic abuse, offering Tier 1 support (Tier 1 support is defined as no more than 5 days). This includes an understanding of the current/ historic situation, risk assessment, victim impact and decisions on next steps. The senior will lead in more complex circumstances, manage the webchat and other sources of communication and lead on developing resources that can be used within the team and for the benefit of victims. Partner liaison will be essential in responding to victims. The team will work within set targets for response and victims’ outcomes. This is a full-time, twelve-month contract where the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting sediment analysis and water quality sampling activities, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality technical outputs. The Marine Environmental team specialises in environmental site characterisation and environmental monitoring. The data we collect enables our clients and regulatory organisations to fully understand the effects of developments and activities in the coastal and marine environment. Following comprehensive training, the role involves conducting laboratory tests on marine sediment and water samples, including particle size distribution, total suspended solids and total dissolved solids and other associated tests. It also includes performing water quality sampling for microbiological monitoring projects at schools, leisure centres and aboard cruise ships. Additional responsibilities include administrative support and maintaining a clean, organised laboratory environment, all in alignment with Fugro’s quality, health, safety, security, and environmental standards. What will you do this year?In your role as an Assistant Manager, Fair Site Clean-up, your primary accountabilities will be to: Develop and implement the department schedule for the Site Clean-up team (including fore people, sweepers and facility attendants) within posted budgets.Responsible for setting and monitoring staff work schedules in consideration of daily park traffic and weather changes.Responsible for assigning and deploying staff to pre-determined site clean areas based on Fair grounds cleaning zones.Assist with Fair group interview sessions and coordinate hiring, training and evaluate work performance of Fair time staff.Coordinate all pre and post-Fair activities, including meetings, training sessions, and Fair setup/ tear down.Develop and implement sign out program for Site Cleaning Equipment: Brooms, Dust Pans, Janitorial Carts, Tilt Trucks, Janitorial Keys, Radios etc.Develop and implement training video program for routine Site Clean activities: Changing Garbage, Sweeping, Mopping, Picking, Diversion Strategies etc.Ensure garbage collection educational packages for vendors are printed and distributed to all external vendors requiring garbage collection and ensure they have the adequate supplies.Ensure all department timesheets are completed and submitted on time.Maintain inventory levels at all stocking locations (Site Clean Compound, Coliseum, Forum, Roller land, Agrodome and Temporary Stock Locations) for all required supplies to ensure proper levels are always available.Maintain cleanliness of Site Clean compound and all equipment used by the team Daily.Assist with the development and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures regarding onsite Guest Services operations.Enforce PNE policies & procedures; coaching, performance managing and disciplining employees as required.Handle complaints from guests as it relates to Site Cleanup, and resolve complaints based on written and established guidelines – track all complaints in our complaint log.Maintain effective working relationships with superiors, other departments, subordinates and the public.Work with and support the “Binners Project” (waste sorting contractor) with any and all needs to keep the operation running smoothly.Working with the “Binners Project” to promote and execute sustainability of the PNE’s Fair; overseeing the contractors in diversion of sorting of waste that comes into site.Working with staff to deploy the PNE’s diversion stations/ totes across the site and document locations on our site map.Perform other related duties as required What else? JOB DESCRIPTION JOB PURPOSE: The Vice President User & Market Insights and Category Management will be responsible for all user research, market insights and category management efforts at Rust-Oleum for a diverse set of brands across multiple product platforms. This individual will be the voice of the user and owns the collection and synthesis of market and end-user intelligence. The person in this key leadership role will be accountable for collaborating with Product Management and other areas of the business to assess and address information needs, and for leading, analyzing, and synthesizing company, consumer, and marketplace learning. The work of the User & Market Insights and Category Management function will directly influence business strategy, product and value proposition design, pricing, media investments, in-store assortment, go to market strategy, among other strategic elements. RESPONSIBILITIES: Overall - Investigate opportunities that drive business results by uncovering market, brand, channel, and end-user trends working with internal and external teams / agencies. Work closely with Product Management, Sales, R&D, and other cross-functional teams that impact the user experience journey to create a research plan that identifies and addresses key knowledge gaps in end-users and markets. Lead insights & category management initiatives and analysis in support of critical strategic planning activities to support the growth and profitability of Rust-Oleum with goal to deliver 10%+ CAGR or 3X market pace (whichever is greater) for each business segment and platform. Market Insights - Responsible for overall market insights and intelligence activities to inform the corporate and marketing strategy, planning, and portfolio decisions. These decisions are informed via an innate understanding of macro market, industry, category and competitive forces. This is done through the compilation of internal and external data sources, both ongoing and adhoc, then interpreting these and their potential impact on strategy and planned tactics. User Insights - Own qualitative and quantitative user research at Rust-Oleum, including User Segmentation, Brand Positioning, Macro Trends, etc. The research conducted will provide a clear understanding of end-user needs, wants, problems, likes and dislikes with respect to target home improvement and professional applications, as well as educate the team on research best practices. Business Insights - Create a clearly defined market intelligence plan. Create actionable business insights internally and externally; internally this includes assessing sales performance of our products at retail in a timely and factual manner; externally, you'll provide a value-added service to retailers by positioning Rust-Oleum as the vendor of choice.
