Proven experience as a Submersible Pump Engineer (2 years experience)
Knowledge of submersible pump systems
Full UK driving licence

Maintain security of the site i.e. ensuring all doors, locks etc are in order.
Attend to all contractors visiting or working on site, chaperoning at all times.
Undertake daily and seasonal general maintenance of the site and equipment.

Replenish soap, towels and toilet paper to all lavatories as necessary.
Monitor the boiler and ensure it is running on a day-to-day basis to meet the establishment's needs.
Ensure deliveries of supplies are correctly handled and dispensed appropriately.
Take meter readings.
Maintain registers i.e. asbestos, etc.
Comply with health and safety, fire regulations and other school policies.
Assist with moving furniture and supplies as requested, and work at heights as required in accordance with health and safety regulations and after completion of a management risk assessment.
Work with the SLT and Facilities Manager to ensure all compliance tasks are completed on time.
Inform the Facilities Manager when supplies are needed (paper and hygiene products) or services are needed (i.e. plumber).
Training:The successful candidate will obtain a Level 2 Facilities Services Operative Apprenticeship standard qualification. CBW have a new opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to work for a large Facilities company within the mechanical plumbing side. To be considered you will have a background in Commercial and Industrial plumbing alongside a good knowledge of repairing water booster systems. Duties & Responsibilities: Maintenance and repair of water booster pump systems.Maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial plumbing and mechanical installations.Pipework modifications and valve replacements (including large-diameter systems).Diagnostic and fault-finding skills essential.Building fabric and mechanical systems repair knowledge.Experience with BMS systems (desirable).Ability to undertake and certify installation works.Ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is carried out in line with maintenance specifications, and accurately documented in real-time using PDA systems (logging start/wait/stop times and detailed work comments).Complete all associated paperwork for PPM, reactive, and breakdown works,Update the client’s CAFM system in real-time with task data and comprehensive descriptions of work carried out, highlighting any required follow-on works.Proactively address reactive tasks across sites and identify areas for service improvement.
