The Role of the Design Engineer
Design and develop electrical switchgear products from concept through to production
Produce conceptual and detailed 3D CAD designs using PTC Creo
Organise and assist with product testing, including sample preparation
Provide engineering support to UK and overseas manufacturing sites
Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and part details in ERP systems
Liaise with sales, production, quality, and customer service teams
Provide data updates for proprietary switchboard design software
Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements

Degree/HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Design Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Background in design for manufacture within a manufacturing environment
