You will be based on the Slindon Estate in West Sussex, a traditional Sussex estate comprised of mix broadleaved woodland and downland with four tenant farms across the estate. Slindon is home to the Northwood project, which for several years was the National Trusts largest woodland restoration project. Work varies throughout the year; wintertime is predominantly chainsaw work in the woodlands managing coppice and timber. Summer involves more survey work, maintaining furniture and rights of way and public engagement. You will also occasionally work on other sites across our portfolio including Drovers Estate, East Head, Warren Hill and Sullington Warren. About The RoleThe Support Worker will provide a structured, personalised resettlement service to every service user at Mildmay House. To seek to support service users who have experienced homelessness to move into their own homes in a planned and supported way.To offer advice, training, information and one-to-one/group support to help service users through this process. You will be responsible for all aspects of the chilled supply Chain, including developing relationship with customers, the factories and forecasting.
This role requires someone to be able to understand the Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment. Demand is a large part of this role. Also, you will be in charge of deciding per product what quantities need to be delivered to the UK depots for two of the factories across Europe. Some other factories will manage directly their stock in the UK depot, you will be in charge to help them to understand the UK market and giving them the information that they need, and challenge them to achieve their KPI (service level / wastage).
The main areas of responsibilities:
· Forecast accuracy, how to improve an achieve a better forecast accuracy for the business
· Put in line the forecast accuracy with the factories stock management and review the rule behind the security stock according to that particular problem
· Put in place action plan resolving service and waste level issues
· Be in charge of analysis for the business, and reach conclusions so they can use to improve our process
