Approximately 55,000 examinations are performed per annum by the Imaging Department - their dynamic team comprises five consultant radiologists, 20 radiographers, six admin/secretarial staff, five support staff and three nursing staff. The department enables excellent opportunities for CPD and external study and training opportunities to postgraduate level. All radiographers within their cross sectional team are trained to perform both CT and MRI imaging on their new scanners (CT = Siemens 128 slice, dual-source 'Drive', & MRI = Siemens 1.5T MRI Avanto FIT).The department operates an on-call system that facilitates a 24 hour full CT and limited MRI service from a team of 11 Radiographers in which this post-holder would be expected to participate. To work under the direction and instruction of senior staff, to provide general clerical, administrative and financial support to the school.
Support to Pupils, Parents and the Community:
Undertake reception duties, answer routine telephone and face to face enquiries and sign in visitors.
Assist with pupil welfare duties; liaise with parents/staff etc.

Organising cover for absent staff under the direction of the Director of Finance and Resources
Participating and assisting in the organisation/completion of examination invigilation as and when required
Collect and accurately record all money for trips, events and college activities
Prepare internal and external suspension documentation and record this information in the Management Information System
Recording events in line with School Suspensions and Permanent Exclusions Guidance from DfE.
To assist in training and developing skills of other support staff where appropriate
Undertaking personal development through training and other learning activities as required
Attending and participating in meetings as required
