Their expertise dates back to the 1960s, when fuel and water quality challenges on merchant naval vessels shaped their approach to engineering. Today, with a modern headquarters in Shropshire and a strategic stock point in the heart of Aberdeen port, they support clients across the UK – including key operators in the North Sea Offshore industry.
They’re now looking to add a skilled Maintenance Pipe Fitter to their team – someone with solid technical knowledge of pipe fitting installation and maintenance.
What you’ll be doing:
Carrying out monthly planned preventative maintenance (PPM), including fuel sampling, filter checks and dewatering
Supporting or performing fuel testing – full training provided
On-site maintenance of dosing pumps, fuel pumps, dosing systems, hoses and pipework
Fabrication of dosing systems and related components
Managing stock levels and ordering necessary materials or spares
Installing dosing systems, polishers, dispensing units and pipework
Overseeing contractors on installation and maintenance projects
What we’re looking for:
Strong experience working with hydraulic and piping systems – including Press-Fit, swaging, and pipe fittings
Ability to inspect systems and identify issues such as leaks or faults
Confident carrying out pipework and pump repairs
Welding experience preferred
Knowledge of electrical systems or pressure testing is an advantage, but not essential
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Practical problem solver with a hands-on approach
Time-served Apprenticeship or experience in a similar engineering or maintenance role

Independent Retail Stock Counter
Salary: €14.35 per hour + Enhancements
Location: Drogheda
*Access to wages from 3-7 days after shift completion*Immediate Start*Holiday Pay*
Retail & Asset Solutions are currently seeking motivated, professional and flexible individuals to complete stock counts for well-known retailers, on a casual contract-basis across the UK. As an Independent Stock Counter, you will be required to drive independently to each shift.

We are a leading provider of Retail stocktaking, merchandising and supply chain management services.

The Role
We are looking for Retail stock counters to add to our already successful team.
Employment will be carried out on different retail customer sites and stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis. Certain locations will have minibus transport provided free of charge.
You will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock
Key Skills/ Experience Required
Due to the nature of our work, you must be able to work unsociable hours including early mornings and during the night when required. As a result, we can only accept applicants 18 years and over
You must have a full Driving License.
You must have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.
