An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and organised Logistics Operative to join a busy service centre team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through the warehouse — from receipt and inspection to storage, packing, and dispatch.
You’ll work closely with the technical and administrative teams to ensure all stock movements are recorded accurately, customer orders are processed efficiently, and quality standards are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming goods, ensuring accurate system updates and stock records.
- Inspect and audit stock upon arrival, verifying quantity and condition.
- Book in returned items against assigned RMA (Return Material Advice) numbers.
- Safely handle, repackage, and store goods in line with internal procedures.
- Support product preparation, including basic testing and cleaning (training provided).
- Pick, pack, and prepare products for dispatch according to customer specifications.
- Complete dispatch paperwork and liaise with carriers for timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with regular stock checks.
- Uphold high standards of housekeeping and organisation within the warehouse.
As the Logistics Operative, you will provide administrative support, including:
- Processing orders and service requests.
- Coordinating with suppliers, customers, and service partners.
- Ensuring all systems and records are kept up to date.
- Supporting the technical team to meet service deadlines and SLAs.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience within a logistics, warehouse, or stores environment.
- Confident using computerised stock management systems or similar software.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Quality Control Specialist educates WTI personnel on the proper use and application of products, providing installation training both on and off the roof. They oversee large self-performed projects from start to finish, conducting intermittent inspections and performing post-completion inspections of smaller projects. The QCS will conduct regular job site visits during the project and after project completion. The goal is to provide consistency nationwide through proper roof repairs and the application of our products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure proper execution and delivery of all WTI GS and GC self-performed roofing work. Provide a variety of technical and application training sessions in both field and shop settings. Provide hands-on application training and supervision of roof coatings and installation. Attend pre-cons on large projects. Be present at job start-ups to discuss the proper execution of the scope of work. Visit the projects at specific intervals to assess the completed work and provide any direction or corrective advice. Perform a pre-final inspection to ensure that the project has a zero-punch list. Perform final inspections when needed. Pre-project field inspections and technical support, including but not limited to: Peel tests Product testing Product recommendations Proper product installations Post project completion inspection to ensure quality workmanship and proper utilization and application of materials. Product diagnostic support to ensure that WTI is kept out of trouble due to misuse of products in the situation. Conduct roof inspections, providing written reports and photo documentation. Key Responsibilities
Own and deliver the product development roadmap for X-ray detectors and associated technologies

About You

Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical communication skills

You’ll work on a variety of nuclear projects, from developing new technologies and maintaining essential systems to extending the life of vital infrastructure. Your day-to-day activities will include hands-on experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD), 3D modelling, mechanical calculations, and producing engineering documentation to national and international standards. You’ll support operational teams, resolve technical issues, and inform decisions that impact real-world outcomes.
As part of your role, you’ll define design requirements, develop 3D CAD models, produce detailed engineering drawings, and carry out scoping calculations. You’ll also prepare equipment specifications, technical reports, and help manage plant and equipment obsolescence to ensure systems remain safe and reliable. Supporting assembly, testing, and operational teams, you’ll offer technical guidance, resolve engineering queries, and manage nonconformance issues, while gaining exposure to advanced engineering tools such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
Based at one of our key sites in Bristol, you’ll support major projects at locations like Sellafield. You’ll begin by shadowing experienced engineers, building a strong foundation in design, modelling, calculations, and documentation.
