Here's what you can expect every day: Safely and in accordance with Rust-Oleum's policies and safety regulations - unload bulk chemicals into Underground Storage Tanks (UST's) and Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST's). These chemicals can be either water based or solvent based. Water based chemicals could include pigmented slurries, resins, etc. Solvent based chemicals could include monomers, alcohol, etc. Proper PPE must be worn at all times. Manage proper levels in the bulk tanks through communication with production, scheduling and through monitoring of tank levels Perform calculations to determine if there is adequate storage room in tank prior to unloading tanker Monitor and manage containment tank levels as needed. This includes checking tank levels and draining as needed. Maintain floor cleanliness throughout the plant as needed with the floor scrubber. Operate and maintain floor scrubber as needed to maintain areas. Properly handle all chemical unloading to ensure any spills are properly managed and cleaned up. All spilled chemicals must be safely transferred to the appropriate hazardous or non-hazardous waste disposal container. Professionally interact with truck drivers delivering chemicals to site. Ensure the proper paper work arrives with each shipment and ensure paper work is transferred to the plant buyer. Support 5S initiative by ensuring work area is safe, clean and free of recognizable hazards; communicate all spills or other hazards to the shift supervisor or other member of the plant management staff. When necessary, assist with other material handling functions in the plant. This can involve receiving and shipping functions and providing assistance with running thru lunches and breaks. Safely use material handling equipment, including sit-down and standup forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories as necessary. Conduct safety audits and inspections as required. Assist in other departments as needed.
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to read and understand instructions, bills of lading and other shipping documents. Ability to do basic math. Accurately enter and retrieve computer data. Ability to operate a forklift. Ability to solve problems in a team environment. Active participation in team building activities. Ability to consistently lift 55 pounds. Willing to work overtime as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Processes payrolls for exempt and non-exempt populations. Ensures Payroll accuracy, data input and review including: new hires, terminations, time entry, stop payments, voluntary/involuntary deductions, earnings, taxable/non-taxable fringe benefits, associates tax elections, payment method elections, etc. Enters new hire data and changes into the time keeping system. Processes and audits all garnishments, child support and other withholding orders for company. Processes unemployment claims for company. Imports employee purchase deductions and reimbursements each pay cycle. Completes year-end payroll related tasks as needed. Provides backup time keeping and payroll responsibilities. Responds to employment verifications, audit, garnishments and other agencies inquiries. Stores payroll change documentation in the electronic imaging system (Perceptive Content). May assist with preparing and uploading journal entries into the accounting system (SAP).
Required Experience:
Associate Degree or equivalent. Fundamental Payroll Certification is a plus. Minimum 3 years of Payroll experience with the ability to use judgement in resolving related issues or making recommendations. Multi-state payroll and tax experience required. Kronos (UKG) Workforce Ready experience preferred ADP Garnishment experience is preferred Oracle Cloud payroll experience is preferred. Intermediate Excel skills is required. Work effectively in a team environment with the ability to collaborate, adapt and respect others. Ability to determine methods and procedures on new assignments with minimal supervision. Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills, and detail-oriented. Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines. Great customer service skills. Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000/annually, bonus eligible

Year 4 – Subject to completing your apprenticeship qualification you will be qualified to perform routine servicing, minor and major repairs independently and to sign off your own work. You continue to receive support from your mentor and other engineers as needed.
