Key Responsibilities
- Support quotation activities by reviewing RFQs and drawings, preparing costed quotations and bills of materials for electronic and cable assemblies, and identifying suitable alternative components for obsolete or long-lead parts (including ERP data entry).

The Senior Process Engineer job, Cambridgeshire, will report into the Head of NPI.
Responsibilities include:
Develop, support and optimise manufacturing processes to achieve minimal variation, rework and reject rate
Implement in-process measures to reduce variation
Undertake root cause analysis on manufacturing issues
Identify and prioritise cost-saving measures
Propose, risk-assess, implement and validate changes to existing processes
Support new equipment introduction
The Senior Process Engineer, Cambridgeshire, will have experience of:
Experience with excimer or solid state lasers
Wafer Fabrication experience
Experience of protoresist processing, ideally on non-planar structures
Experience of vacuum preparation & deposition processing, metals, dielectrics
Knowledge of CVD, PVD, MEMS, thick film, photolithograph etc would be an advantage
Experience within a manufacturing, test, maintenance or research environment
Process control through SPC, failure analysis methodologies would be an advantage

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong analogue electronics and power supply design experience, who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working across the full product lifecycle — from concept, prototyping, and testing through to customer delivery. Main Responsibilities of the Power Electronics Engineer (based in Wickford, Essex):

Support the sales teams with technical input to customer enquiries, proposals, and specifications.
Interface directly with customers on technical issues, projects, and RMAs, ensuring smooth resolution.

Mentor junior engineers and deliver technical training to internal staff and customers.
Requirements of the Power Electronics Engineer (based in Wickford, Essex):
Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Master’s desirable).
Extensive experience in electronics engineering, including PCB design.
Strong background in analogue electronics and power supply design (AC/DC, DC/DC, rectifiers, high-voltage).
Proficiency in simulation and design tools such as SPICE and CAD software.
Practical, hands-on approach to prototyping, soldering, testing, and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a small but dynamic team.
Full UK driving licence and legal right to work in the UK.
Desirable Experience:
Background in telecoms power supply design or other efficiency-critical markets.
Low-level programming knowledge and/or digital design alongside analogue expertise.
Commercial awareness of electronics product development and ability to support technical sales.
Experience in quality-critical sectors such as aerospace, defence, or industrial.
