I am currently working with a highly efficient and well-equipped Bodyshop who are looking to add a qualified Multi-Skilled Bodyshop Technician to their busy site in Wolverhampton area.
Multi-Skilled Bodyshop Technician roles and responsibilities:
- Full automotive repair paint procedure, including masking and preparing vehicles, mixing and matching colours, operating the spray booth and checking the paint finish is ready for refit.
- Light MET and panel work, including strip fitting.
- Assessing the best methods for conducting repairs and using specialist body repair equipment.
- Supporting in panel, MET, and paint work as required, including providing cover in each department during times of absence.
- Planning work and ordering parts to ensure vehicles are ready when promised.
Skills and experience required as a Multi-Skilled Bodyshop Technician:
- At least 2 years experience as an automotive Panel / MET / Paint
- ATA/ NVQ certification is advantageous but not essential
- Experience in Paint Spraying
- Panel Beating / Strip and Fit
- Strong attention to detail
- A fast and accurate worker
- Highly organised with a flexible approach to working patterns

As a Vehicle Technician, you will carry out service, repairs, and diagnostics to a high standard across a range of vehicle makes and models.
This full-time permanent role offers a salary range of £32,000 - £45,000 and benefits. They are looking for candidates with stable work history.
You will be responsible for:
? Performing vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics with accuracy and efficiency
? Stripping, fitting, and replacing components on various makes and models
? Ensuring all work is recorded accurately on job cards
? Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the workshop
? Working within timeframes to meet deadlines while upholding quality standards
? Using your own initiative to manage workload effectively
What we are looking for:
? Previously worked as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Car Mechanic, Car Technician, Diagnostic Technician or in a similar role.
? Have 5 years of experience in a workshop environment
? NVQ Level 3 in Automotive Servicing and Repair, or equivalent qualification
? Strong diagnostic skills and a "first-time fix" approach
? Ownership of a full set of tools
? Full, clean UK driving licence
Shift:
? Monday Friday: 8am - 5.30pm
? 1 in 3 Saturday: 8am-1pm

Mobile Bodyshop Technician roles and responsibilities:
- Carrying out any scheduled repairs that have been pre-arranged.
- Preparation work

- Medium filler repairs
- Bodywork refurbishing on vehicles to name but a few of the tasks.
Skills and experience required as a Mobile Bodyshop Technician:
