GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Technical Application Specialist ensures proper application of Tremco products in accordance with company and industry guidelines by providing both on-site and office-based problem resolution assistance. Support appropriate laboratory investigations to identify root cause and disposition action in a timely manner
Support the operation of specific functional tasks and activities in line with project requirements
Key functional tasks and activities include the testing and development of new inhalation pharmaceutical products, including the analysis of batch manufacture, generation of stability data, generation of data and other one-off studies (where applicable)
Ensure that the quality of the data generated is fit for purpose and all data are appropriately evaluated
Establish clear communication channels with other teams within the department

Training:
Apprentices work full-time whilst studying towards a BSc (Hons) Scientist (Chemical Science) degree from Manchester Metropolitan University, as well as a Level 6-degree apprenticeship
Students study a tutor-supported e-distance learning curriculum and attend residential schools. The work-based projects, negotiated with employers, offer students the opportunity to apply their learning directly to their organisation
The programme is primarily taught through tutor-supported online study, part-time over four years
Apprentices will attend a two-day induction at the University to help them get to know each other and balance undergraduate study with working full-time
They will also attend a week-long residential at our campus in central Manchester once a year, in addition to a two-day mini-residential in the first year
Training Outcome:
After completion of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity for a full-time permanent position within the organisation

Your main duties will be assisting the dentist with preparing instruments and equipment, mixing different materials as required and providing suction support.
You will undertake your practical duties such as:
Cross-infection control and decontamination
Chairside clinical treatments supporting the dentist
Processing of X-rays

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service is managed by Cheshire Fire Authority. The Authority comprises councillors from our local communities of Cheshire, Halton and Warrington. The councillors make decisions on things like policy, finance and resources.
The Service is led by the Chief Fire Officer and the Service Management Team.
We have 28 fire stations staffed in a number of different ways to reflect local risks and demands, three community safety (home safety) centres, three community fire protection (business safety) offices, a safety centre in Lymm, an operational training centre and workshops at our Sadler Road site in Winsford along with a joint headquarters facility with Cheshire Constabulary in Winsford.
Our emergency call handling function is provided by North West Fire Control, based at Lingley Mere in Warrington. North West Fire Control is a collaboration between four fire and rescue services providing a control room operation for Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
We respond to emergency incidents across the four unitary council areas of:
• Halton
• Warrington
• Cheshire East
• Cheshire West and Chester
What do we do?
We respond to all emergency calls from the public for assistance. Many emergency calls, however, are not to fires but to incidents where members of the community are trapped in vehicles following road traffic collisions, trapped in machinery, or trapped in less life threatening circumstances as well as being called to chemical spillages and toxic emissions.
We also deal with many other domestic situations such as flooding, storm damage, people unable to gain access to premises, animals in distress etc.
Along with dealing with incidents we also provide community safety advice, which help us to reduce risks and to improve the lives and safety of Cheshire’s residents and businesses.Working Hours :Will most likely be 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.
