To carry out all instructions issued to you by your Manager or Supervisor, or any person responsible with your training
Attend and complete all training and development courses as required
Attend a suitable college or training provider selected by the authority to carry out the training related to the qualification
To carry out on site and college based learning in compliance with Sandwell MBC employee Code of Conduct and work safe ethics
To seek continuous improvement in all aspects of work and college based learning and to take part in reviews to assess this improvement

Technical Duties:
Maintain the highest production standards on all productions.
Work with the technical departments, carrying out get ins and get outs for visiting productions
To be involved with the creation of all Rep productions
Work with the Lighting and Sound/Video departments rigging, focusing, programming and operating lighting, sound and video equipment
Work with the Stage Departments, fitting up and taking down scenery, stage equipment and rigging
Work to design and installation deadlines as per production schedules set by the Production Manager
To maintain performances, ensuring the productions continued adherence to its creator’s original design
To work on performances and events
To ensure everyone’s experience of visiting The Rep are positive and enjoyable
Health and Safety:
Maintain the highest possible Health and Safety standards on all productions

The apprenticeship role includes 20% off-the-job training, such as online learning with Access Industry with other Apprentice Technicians, attending industry events, and networking with professionals
You’ll also complete the Association of British Theatre Technicians Bronze Award qualification
Training Outcome:
After completing your apprenticeship, you’ll have a solid foundation in lighting, sound, stage, AV, rigging, and health & safety - making you versatile in many areas or you can specialise in one particular area.

You will be based at Myton Horticulture Derby.
As a Floristry Apprentice, you will work hands-on and side-by-side with our experienced colleagues, learning the art of creating beautiful floral arrangements for our valued customers. There are six phases of the course that are conducted over a period of 12 months. Each phase will have an endpoint assessment, and will cover the following topics:
