Drawing Interpretation: Accurately interpret and follow technical drawings, diagrams, or specifications for component or assembly requirements
Work Planning: Plan work activities, including resource allocation, equipment, and tooling requirements
Component Manufacture: Produce individual components and refurbish as needed
Assembly Operations: Assemble components to create equipment, machines, or systems either fully or partially
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues with components or assemblies including fault diagnosis
Completion and Handover: Hand over completed components or assemblies, including proper storage and commissioning

Summary:
Carboline Global Inc. is looking for a Sales Representative in West Virginia who will be responsible for selling all of the assigned company products/services within the assigned sales territory by contacting established customers as well as developing new prospects. Must have complete knowledge of the product line represented, related services and company policies.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's in Business or a Technical degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 1 year of individual sales experience.
Preferred: Previous industrial sales experience within the coatings industry.
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires minimal physical activity. May require lifting up to 50lbs on occasion. May require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day. Occasional exposure to various chemicals. May require travel up to 50%, including nighttime.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for calling on new and existing customers to build sales volume, to remain abreast of customer requirements and to assess market trends.
Calls on customers and prospective customers to inform them of products, new releases, services available, supply, etc. Provides technical assistance when necessary.
Responsible for securing and renewing orders; works with customer services and sales management to provide servicing levels required by the customer.
Builds and maintains a sales program within the territory based on strategic planning including prospecting, new business development, levels of available business and level of repeat business.

Daily Operation

Management Development

Compliance

Safety

Participate in various business meetings as plant representative for operational expertise and plant capacity and capabilities.
Miscellaneous
Miscellaneous administrative work regarding phone calls, forecasting, audits, capital projects, wage proposals, etc. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree. 10 years + of experience managing a plant. Understands and can participate in financial planning activities, including budget development, cost management and capital investment planning. Very strong verbal communication skills: ability to effectively communicate one-on-one and present to large groups. Strong written communication skills: ability to effectively communicate with customers by email, as well as develop written reports and presentations. High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, SAP experience is a plus. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills Experienced in Project Management and statistics. Duties and responsibilities of the Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer:
• Lead the technical delivery of mechanical engineering work packages within multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring high quality, on-time delivery
• Interpret customer and regulatory requirements to develop robust and cost-effective engineering solutions
• Undertake mechanical design activities including 2D and 3D modelling, assembly layout, component detailing, and preparation of design documentation
• Perform hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate and optimise designs for strength, safety, and performance
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, design justifications, test plans, and user documentation in accordance with marine and defence standards
• Check and approve the work of other engineers and provide mentoring and technical leadership to junior team members

• Conduct factory acceptance tests and inspections at supplier facilities, occasionally requiring UK and international travel

Qualifications and requirements for the Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer:
• BEng (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline, or significant equivalent practical experience
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively working towards registration with a relevant institution (e.g., IMechE)
• Proven background in mechanical engineering design, ideally within the marine, offshore, defence, or other highly regulated industries
• Strong experience in delivering projects across all phases — from initial requirements capture through detailed design to product support
• Proficient in the use of 2D and 3D CAD systems such as AutoCAD and Creo
• Familiar with Engineering Bill of Materials (BoMs) and the use of ERP/MRP systems for design release and production planning
