They are now looking to expand further into their Manchester office and are looking for legal advisors to manage a caseload of Fast Track RTA cases through all stages of the investigation and litigation process.
To deliver robust quality claims handling, with a key focus on client outcomes, to generate fee income and to contribute to the general success of the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for a high volume caseload of Fast Track Personal Injury RTA claims, making use of the firms Case Management Systems and using the agreed internal procedures and practices.
- To progress your caseload in a manner to ensure that clients receive appropriate, professional, timely and pertinent legal advice, with regular contact, whilst managing their expectations.
- To deal with cases with denial of liability and causation arguments with minimal supervision.
- To be able to assess liability and quantum to include reviewing medical reports, researching and obtaining relevant case law, drafting schedules of special damages and assessing suitable awards for compensation.
- To identify early those cases where proceedings would be tactically beneficial to litigate and to do so expeditiously.
- Take a practical but commercial approach to settlements and advising clients as to litigation/cost risks.
- To achieve and exceed various targets set in relation to, for example, profit costs and issuing, without compromising the firms integrity.
- To liaise appropriately and timely with sources, medical agencies, experts, third party insurers and other relevant parties to ensure that cases are pro-actively progressed.
- To attend, where appropriate, court hearings to make representations in respect of the claim before the judiciary. Where necessary, and in accordance with the firms internal policies and procedures, to instruct Barristers to represent clients at hearings and obtain formal Advice over issues of quantum and liability.
- Perform to a high level in a target orientated environment.
- To undertake any other tasks as deemed relevant and reasonable by the business.

Assist in the layout, cabling, and installation of sensor systems, with a focus on electrical integration in R&D projects, pilots, and related systems.
Support in assisting and preparing general assembly diagrams, wiring schematics, and electrical connection flowcharts
Create supporting documentation such as sensor placement diagrams and Bills of Materials (BoM)
Measure and provide accurate dimensioning and tolerances for mounting and installation of components to the team
Assemble electrical and electronic systems such as electrical enclosures, electronic enclosures, PCBs, various electrical connectors, and cabling.
Assist in the assembly, modification, and design of custom enclosures for sensors using 3D printing, moulding, or basic fabrication tools.
Operate and maintain fabrication tools such as soldering irons, 3D printers, and CNC equipment, etc.
Contribute to the assembly, modification, and running of R&D experiments, pilots, and test rigs, including setups for bioreactors and other environments requiring process control and monitoring
Support sensor testing and calibration in these environments, measuring and providing data for R&D and other projects
Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace and adhere to all safety procedures.

The role is predominantly night shifts starting from our office in Arundel where you will collect your vehicle and equipment for the the night. All necessary uniform and equipment is provided and you will be given peer-to-peer training on all our different rounds.
Your duties may include:-
Driving a patrol van to a variety of sites in a designated area
Carrying out external site patrols
Carrying out internal site patrols
Locking and unlocking buildings
Responding to emergency alarms (intruder alarms, CCTV activations, fire alarms)
Working to a timetable for certain tasks
Planning your own workload to ensure duties are carried out within time windows
Ensuring that buildings are secure through checking windows, doors and vulnerable areas
Carrying out and recording a variety of tasks using a phone/PDA app
Producing important security and safety reports for our client
