We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Vehicle Accident Damage Estimator to join an established Accident Repair Centre in the Tyldesley area.
This is NOT a trainee role, to be considered for this role you must be currently working in an accident repair centre in an identical role or have done so in the last 3 years.
You must have working experience of Audatex (or similar estimating software) and ideally hold an ATA VDA.
Key role and responsibilities as an Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor:
- You will undertake the inspection of accident damaged vehicles, assessing the full extent of the damage, costs of repair and time frames.
- You will ensure our work providers menu pricing schedules and repair methodologies and key information for each contract is being adhered too on each job.
- You will work within our guidelines to ensure that the workflow volume meets targets.
- Use computerised estimating systems.
- Liaise regularly with insurance and accident management companies with any updates or queries relating to relevant jobs.
- Contact customers to provide updates
Minimum requirements as an Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor:
Must have experience using estimating software (ideally Audatex)
ATA is advantageous but not essential
Ensure customer expectations are met and demonstrate great service skills

An exciting opportunity has arisen at your local Nissan dealership where you will be required to learn all aspects of the technician job role while you work as an apprentice.

You will also be required to have a grade 4 or above in maths & English at GCSE level or equivalent.
Duties to include:Perform Automotive Repairs.Follow Car Checklists.Learn Repair Techniques.Training:This is a Motor Vehicle Technician Apprenticeship, delivered by Robert Bosch Ltd. Training is delivered on a block release basis at the Alliance Training Centre in Doncaster. This means your college based training will be delivered away from home and you will be required to stay in a hotel for 17 separate weeks (Mon – Fri) over the 3 year duration of the course. All associated costs for training are met by the employer/the programme and there will be no cost to yourself/your parents or guardians. Assessments will also be conducted in the work place by a dedicated training assessor. You will also be assigned a workplace mentor for support in dealership. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner Nurse your key duties include:
Assess own learning needs through the process of performance review and develops key annual objectives which support the delivery and improvement of the service
To develop and enhance clinical and leadership skills as appropriate, undertaking in-house and formal training to ensure competency in all aspects of care. To be aware of all aspects of clinical governance and risk management with regards to the enhanced role of the nurse practitioner
Maintain clinical credibility by demonstrating continually professional development and undertake training and education as required, ensuring highest standard of evidence based clinical skills
Undertake teaching sessions and presentations to groups of staff; be involved with the training and education of other staff with regards to the role of the UCC and ENP/ANP’s
To adapt and develop the role of Nurse Practitioner, ensuring flexibility and willingness to expand the role as required
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Experience of clinical leadership
Able to demonstrate teaching and assessing skills
Experience of service specific advanced clinical skills
Experience of working within multi professional settings contributing to effective team working
Able to demonstrate adherence to evidence-based practice
Experience of working independently in a healthcare role
V300 qualification with previous experience in a Primary Care setting
You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel
The successful Advanced Nurse Practitioner will receive an excellent salary of £48,000 - £58,000 per annum.
