You will be working across a range of departments with different print technologies, including flexographic, hot stamp foil, digital inkjet and thermal transfer.
You will be involved with producing a wide range of labels, including asset labels, security labels, warehouse labels, barcode labels, cable labels and packaging labels.
You will learn to operate multiple machines, including Focus rotary machines, Newfoil hot foil machines and Roland digital printers.
The digital departments use multiple software programmes such as Adobe, Versaworks and Colorgate.
Over the course of the apprenticeship, the candidate will spend time learning all our print methods. They will spend time in each department, initially shadowing a member of the production team and then getting hands-on printing labels. Full training will be provided. As well as printing, there will also be tasks such as finishing and packing. Examples of specific tasks are as follows:
Set up cutters and print stations according to a job sheet specification
Colour matching and quality checking samples

The Role of Lead Mechanical EngineerAs the Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of innovation and developing standards to create engineering solutions across the site. Working across different levels within the business and with different teams to identify innovative solutions required to meet strategic business and sustainability goals.As a senior member within the Facility Management Service Team, you will support a multi-disciplined team, fostering an environment where they can excel and enabling development opportunities.Key Responsibilities of the Lead Mechanical Engineer:
Leading a number of high-priority Fire Safety projects that will maintain the site’s emergency response capability.
Develop the site’s future CAPEX portfolio by identifying future investment projects that will support the operations onsite.
As a safety ambassador you will have extensive experience in contractor management within project and maintenance environments. Working with a safety focus you will support the team to manage the upkeep of our 8000+ assets, including safety critical equipment, ensuring maintenance and compliance obligations across site are met in full.
Developing standards, procedures and maintaining documentation, you will support an open knowledge sharing environment, Mentoring individuals to align practices and approaches, whilst ensuring site information is maintained, accurate and up to date.
As a design authority and Subject Matter Expert, you will influence and shape the mechanical landscape across site, acting as signatory within the organisation’s Management of Change process, reviewing, advising and approving Mechanical changes to infrastructure, ensuring changes are carefully considered.
Essential Criteria Needed of the Lead Mechanical Engineer
Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer
A minimum of five years working within a Senior Engineering position
Possesses strong Project Management skills
IT Proficiency – SAP Experience
Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations
Vast experience within a relevant manufacturing background (Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical etc.)

As a Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprentice, you’ll be working in a small but busy community pharmacy. You’ll support the pharmacist and wider team in providing excellent customer service, safe handling of medicines, and smooth running of the pharmacy. This is a varied role where no two days are the same but you’ll be trained to develop your skills and confidence.
Main duties will include:
Greeting and assisting customers at the counter with advice and service.
Supporting the sale of over-the-counter medicines under pharmacist supervision.
Receiving prescriptions, checking details, and preparing items for collection.
Assisting the pharmacist in the safe dispensing of medication.
Ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical stock correctly.
Monitoring stock levels, replenishing shelves, and ensuring sales areas are clean and presentable.
Learning how to use pharmacy IT systems for stock control, prescriptions, and record keeping.
Processing customer payments, handling cash and card transactions.
Supporting the pharmacist with health campaigns and promoting services such as flu vaccinations or smoking cessation advice.
Maintaining high standards of customer care by offering a friendly, professional, and helpful service.
Following health and safety guidelines, infection control, and pharmacy procedures at all times.
Developing specialist knowledge of pharmacy products and services.
Completing compulsory training and assessments as part of your apprenticeship.
Carrying out general housekeeping tasks to keep the pharmacy safe and tidy.
Assisting the team with other reasonable duties as required to support the smooth running of the pharmacy.
Training:This apprenticeship is work-based learning, which means you’ll be based in the pharmacy and won’t need to attend college. Instead, you’ll be given paid time per week known as off-the-job training during your working week to complete apprenticeship tasks and build your knowledge.
