Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for tests, research, or process control- following standardized formulas and procedures. Run approved analysis on current production batches for conformity and release. Advise on any products that need to be added to the production batch to pass QC. Test, analyze and document quality of products such as concrete, cementitious repair products, admixtures for concrete, cement and other raw materials to determine their physical, chemical, and engineering properties. Work in the sample program to develop water borne products in custom colors. Document results of tests, analyses, and maintain lab books in an acceptable manner. Coordinate receipt of telephone, fax, and mailed inquiries regarding product testing/usage and respond accordingly. Provide written and verbal technical support and product recommendations and liaise with Plant Manager and headquarters R&D team as needed. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
This position performs various diagnostic onsite inspections for customers, as well as other inspection services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform/assist with diagnostic roof inspections, including Infrared, Nuclear, visual, & other inspection services, along with related information gathering and verification tasks.
Work with Lead Diagnostics Technician
Collaborate with other Field Supervisors as necessary.
Assist with the Quality Control (QC) process for all diagnostic jobs, ensuring proper documentation to ensure that all work is completed accurately and that customers are satisfied.
Conduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, voicemail, and in-person meetings) with customers, sales representatives, field staff, and internal company personnel on all diagnostic-related matters.
Serve as a point of contact for office personnel in case of any issues related to a diagnostic problem.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times when providing services to customers.
In conjunction with the Manager of Diagnostic Services, assist in training other field personnel on diagnostic tools, techniques, and processes.
Proper completion of all services and related paperwork.
Participate in all safety trainings and complete any required documentation.
Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the Manager of Diagnostic Services or the VP of General Services

You will be responsible for:
Providing high quality, first and second line technical support for the IT service desk; recording all calls and activities within the service desk tool, within the SLA guidelines
Setting up user accounts, implementing password changes, and resolving work area problems (this includes detecting illegal access, lost passwords, bans)
Keeping records of all users, including the management of laptop loans
Handling printing problems – both hardware and software
Dealing with user account problems as and when they occur
Hardware – routine checking, fault-finding and rectifying, general maintenance

To assist and train students and staff in the use of the Network when applicable
