A well-established technology services provider is looking to expand its Delivery Team with the addition of a Voice Services Technician. This position plays a key role in supporting the delivery of IP telephony and unified communications (UC) solutions, working closely with both internal departments and customers to ensure smooth, accurate and timely provisioning of services.
This is a customer-facing support role involving both administrative and technical tasks across small-scale voice deployments. Working under the guidance of senior delivery and engineering teams, the successful candidate will help manage and configure systems such as cloud telephony and Microsoft-hosted collaboration services.
While prior experience with platforms like Cisco Broadworks or Microsoft 365 is advantageous, full product training will be provided. This role is ideal for a graduate with a strong desire to develop knowledge within technology.
Role Responsibilities
• Supporting the activation of services once contracts are signed, ensuring accurate data is collected and implementation requirements are clearly understood
• Managing smaller orders and installations (typically under 10 users), maintaining delivery standards in line with agreed service levels
• Using internal CRM tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) to manage workflow from contract signature through to provisioning and billing
• Drafting and issuing customer-facing documentation, including tailored voice configuration templates and bespoke call flow diagrams
• Carrying out user and hardware allocation, voice platform setup, and configuration of specific requirements
• Using external portals to provision third-party services that enhance the overall voice solution
• Liaising with provisioning colleagues to conduct number availability checks and prepare porting documentation
• Providing support across internal departments and acting as a point of reference for voice-related queries
• Representing the voice and UC function in a professional and collaborative manner

Main Responsibilities of the NPD Technologist / Applications Technologist ·Support the Sales and marketing team through provision of product application solutions and samples in a timely manner in line with company opportunities and briefs ·Directly engage with prospects and customers promoting innovation days at and off-site customer visits ·Continuous improvement throughout the technical applications function ·Be involved in the implementation of product safety and legality ·Co-ordinate with Sales Team and Customers to achieve new business opportunities ·Enter formulations and applications data onto computer systems in line with the company's development process ·Ensure compliance of legislation regarding additives and flavourings and that they are legal and safe to use ·Oversee customer samples to ensure most appropriate samples are sent and are fit for purpose ·Ensure that internal and external customer expectations are always met ·Ensure departments KPI's are met NPD Technologist / Applications Technologist Experience / Qualifications Required: ·Proven experience in product development, focusing on innovation, recipe development and product stability (shelf life, texture, flavour enhancements). ·Strong passion for the food industry, demonstrated in both personal or professional settings. ·Excellent understanding of market trends and product positioning. ·Self-motivated and able to drive projects independently. Duties will include:
Continually improving safety culture on site.
Maintaining the management systems and working with the SHE team to ensure the business remains compliant.
Supporting the site with information for leadership engagement, supporting internal and external audit programs.
Maintaining excellent accident, incident and near miss reporting using the company software platform.
Supporting the development of (and delivery) of risk reduction strategies.
Supporting the development (and delivery) of new tools and ways of working to drive improvement in SHE processes.
Supporting the development (and delivery) of employee safety training programs.
Working with various stakeholders to create and maintain safety documentation e.g. Risk assessments, Control of Substance Hazardous to Health (CoSHH), The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), Manual handling assessments, Noise, Hand Arm Vibrations (HAVs).
Lead by example in all SHE matters, always acting in an ethical manner and with integrity and impartiality.
SHE tasks typically associated with the role of a SHE Advisor or assigned by the SHE Manager.
Training:You will undertake the Level 3 Apprenticeship standard.
Safety, Health, Environment Technician - which is completed both in the workplace and at College. You will study both on and off the job with the full support and guidance of a fully qualified tutor/assessor.
