Support maintenance engineer with maintenance work orders e.g. screw changes & water testing.
Attend to breakdowns promptly and safely to minimise loss in production time & quality.
Ensure all ancillary equipment not maintained by operators, is regularly serviced and kept in good order e.g. vacuums, hand tools etc.
In order to carry construction work you will be required to use a range of company tools e.g. Fabrication and machinery tools / equipment, welding, cutting, lathe turning, milling machining and electrical / manual hand-tools. These must be used in accordance with company policy, by competent and trained personnel.
Keep and maintain records for the servicing of equipment and works carried out.
Conduct portable appliance testing and ensure regular records / tests are kept up to date.
When undertaking equipment repairs, kit must be left in a safe mode or rendered unsafe and immediately taken out of service.
Maintain a regular stock holding of all necessary spares for machinery
Conduct regular stock checks
Sourcing of spare parts where requested by Maintenance Engineer.
Ensure all activities are carried out safely and following Company Policy & Procedure
Safe systems of work are followed (SOP’s)
Risk Assessments are completed and understood for each job
Permits to work are utilised where required.
Observe contractors and engineers work in a safe manner when on site.
All associated equipment will be kept in good condition and all associated guards and safety devices to be in place and fully functional.
Ensure correct PPE is worn by yourself and personnel entering maintenance areas.
Ensure accidents, incidents and “near misses” are reported.

The key aspect of the Sheet Metal Design Engineer and Programmers role is to ensure products are produced to the required specification and/or systems remain operational within their designated field.
Duties will include (but not be exclusive to):
Day to day coordination of field service activities
Preparation of documentation that contains all relevant and necessary data and information required for the technical activity being carried out
Provide technical advice and guidance to others
Contribute to the business by identifying possible opportunities for improving working practices, processes and/or procedures
Training:
Year 1 - full time at Training 2000 OR x6 four week blocks and 1 day per week to complete the Technical Certificate (if required)
Year 2 - 1 day per week to complete the Technical Certificate (if required) / assessment in your workplace
Year 3/4 - assessment in your workplace

Mobile HGV TechnicianLocation: Enfield, Field Based Salary: up to 44k Hours: 7.30-4.00 Mon to Fri (38.75 hours) Overtime availableThe Role We are looking for a qualified and experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a world-renowned multinational company and assist with the service and maintenance of specialist HGVs. If you have worked as a heavy Plant Fitter, HGV Technician, PSV technician/Bus mechanic, I would be very keen to speak to you about the position. Key duties of the Mobile HGV Technician
Diagnostic analysis, repairs or preventative maintenance
Provide a customer facing product support
Complete PDI inspections
Repair equipment and vehicles at depot or on site as required to ensure conformance with manufacturer’s specification and company policy
Complete planned maintenance activities including maintaining the appearance of the fleet to corporate standard.
Handover equipment to customers and familiarise customers with safe operation in accordance with company procedures.
Act as an ambassador for the company, providing a high standard of customer care and being polite at all times. Relay appropriate customer queries to staff as required
Accurately complete all relevant paperwork including engineer’s reports, inspections, calibrations check and job sheets.
Complete any mechanical maintenance, testing and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, compressors, motors and ancillary equipment, be able to read schematic drawings
Experience required for the Mobile HGV Technician
Proven background in auto-electrical fault diagnosis and repair, including use of electronic diagnostic equipment.
Hands-on experience with a range of HGVs and specialist vehicles.
Other:
Full UK driving licence.
Good work ethic
Willing to learn
City & Guilds Level 3 – Vehicle Mechanical and Electronic Systems (Maintenance & Repair) or equivalent is advantageous
