The Team/Department:This is a close-knit team, comprising a Band 8 Manager, four Band 7 Physiologists (including this post), two band 6's, three Band 5's including apprentices.The Department has two dedicated Cath Labs and a Pacing Service They cover all aspects of invasive cardiology including conduction pacing and biventricular pacing, seeing over 2,500 pacemaker patients every year.Key Responsibilities- Overseeing and supporting a busy pacing clinic, managing approximately 300 face-to-face appointments and 1,000 remote follow-ups each month for loops, brady, and complex devices.- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to perform 700 PCI procedures and 250 Primary PCI procedures annually.- Supporting the implantation of around 300 devices each year.Person Requirements:Degree-qualified Cardiac PhysiologistSubstantial post qualification Cardiac Physiologist experience including ICDs and Biventricular pacemakersStrong leadership and team building skillsAble to relate and communicate with staff at all levels and from different professionsDevices accreditation eg. The role of a Community Activator Coach is to play a key part in supporting healthier communities, focusing on improving the health and well-being of the nation. They create a positive environment that supports people, especially young individuals, to grow and develop through sport and physical activity. These coaches promote, deliver, and lead fun, inclusive, and engaging activities that encourage whole communities to adopt and maintain a physically active lifestyle. Beyond being activity and sports leaders, they truly understand the needs of their communities and customers.
The Community Activator Coach will assist the centres in delivering and growing their dry side sports provision which includes, gymnastics, social sport and potentially other sports such as Tennis or Padel.
This will include planning activities as well as delivering feedback to participants and their parents as required
You will also be asked to work in other areas of the leisure centres by setting up/ down equipment, working in the extreme areas and soft play. Shifts on reception or completing out reach may also be required.
The wage for this position is £226.50 per week. Upon successful completion of probation at 6 months your wage will rise up to £415.50 per week (dependant on age)
