GC Administration Supervisor
Note: This position will support the South Atlantic and Gulf Coast Regions within our Eastern Division.
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Responsible for supervising and coordinating all General Contracting project administration staff in addition to project administration duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises Project Administrators
Responsibilities of Project Administration
Possess a thorough understanding of all interfacing departments such as Field, Credit, Accounting, Finance, etc.
Process commission adjustments and chargebacks
Assist Business Operations Support Manager in open credit disputes with the finance team
Questions regarding billings, disputes, bonds, insurance, customer submittals, material issues, material releases, customer specific documents that are unfamiliar, commissions
Communicate changes in administrator roles to appropriate internal and external personnel (i.e. sales reps, CM's, division managers, regional managers etc.)
Readsoft, Invoice Cancelation, and PO Review/Release approval
Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraising, reward and discipline of employees
Coordinate work with key Project/Construction Managers, Tech Supervisors, Customers, Management, Sales Reps and Resource Management
Conflict resolution with Sales Reps, CM's, Division Managers and Internal personnel from other internal areas
Assist Business Operations Support Manager with audits
Assist Business Operations Support Manager with month end reporting
Monitor, review and resolve Daily, weekly and monthly reporting
Review and approve timesheets and vacation schedules
Perform reviews and PEPs for direct reports
Special projects as needed
EDUCATION:
Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
EXPERIENCE:
Two to four years related experience and/or training
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
General Contracting/Construction background preferred
Federal Contracting including Government, State and Local
Ability to look for ways to achieve greater efficiency in process and procedure
Must demonstrate independent thinking and decision making skills
Must be customer focused with strong written and verbal communication
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to make group presentations
Intermediate understanding of basic accounting principles
Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (compliance regulations for publicly traded companies)
Knowledge of State Prevailing Wage
Knowledge of David Bacon and SCA wages

Assist with project planning, scheduling, and execution on site.
Support day-to-day site operations, including inductions, supervision, and logistics.
Maintain accurate site records such as daily diaries, permits, inductions, and progress reports.
Help manage and update risk assessments, method statements, and site rules.
Assist with the collation of O&M Manuals and Health & Safety Files.
Use document control platforms such as SharePoint and Procore to manage project data.
Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contractor documentation.
Support quality assurance, snagging, and monitoring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Liaise with subcontractors, clients, and project teams to ensure clear communication and site coordination.
Participate in meetings and toolbox talks, and contributing to health, safety, and environmental initiatives (e.g., CCS and BREEAM).
Training:Of the 40-hour working week, one day (8 hours) is dedicated to study or training sessions, with the remaining 32 hours spent working on-site or in the workplace.
The training is provided by UCEM, who deliver sessions online. Therefore, most of the study will take place remotely, allowing for flexible learning without the need for travel to a physical college location.Training Outcome:Achieving the Construction Site Management Degree Apprenticeship will provide you with the skills and qualifications needed to manage construction projects effectively and progress into senior site management roles. It combines academic learning with practical experience, and is accredited by leading professional bodies such as RICS and CIOB, enabling you to work toward chartered status. Role Purpose:
To provide horticultural and landscaping support across Eden, whilst being provided with on-the-job training. Key Accountabilities
To support and learn from the horticultural team in jobs such as pruning, planting, seed sowing, watering, weeding and all plant care along with habitat management.
To assist and learn about the creation and maintenance hard and soft landscaping – such as hedgerows, walling, fencing, pathways and bridleways.
To learn about and share the responsibility for the use, care and maintenance of hand tools and small machinery used in horticultural tasks, including equipment for grass and hedge cutting, strimming, planting, pruning, and the use of golf buggies.
