As a Process Technician, you will:
Perform all duties in compliance with all Venator Corporate and Venator Pigments EHS, business conduct policies, guidelines and the local site Life Saving Rules at all times. Complete all Corporate Compliance training.

You will be responsible for laboratory-based tasks, which includes designing and running experiments, analysing data. The role will have an emphasis on laboratory automation, to support antibody drug discovery. Techniques will include molecular biology, cell culture, high-throughput screening, as well as maintenance, programming and operation of advanced laboratory automation equipment.
Tasks typically involve:
Use of specialised software and scripting to control and troubleshoot automated liquid handlers and integrated robotic systems
Keeping up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability
Performing experiments accurately to produce data and support scientific investigations
Analysing and recording experimental data to the agreed standards
Helping interpret and present results in collaboration with other colleagues
Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks.Training:Scientist Level 6.
The training for this apprenticeship will be completed online.Training Outcome:Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be eligible to apply for other positions within the business. The apprentices will be trained to:
Perform routine bookkeeping tasks such as posting sales and purchase invoices, reconciling bank transactions.
Perform routine payroll tasks, such as calculating pay and tax deductions using payroll software, generating reports, submitting EPS/FPS reports to HMRC.
Perform routine auto-enrolment tasks, including declarations of compliance, pension contribution uploads and payment approvals
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts, including maintenance of fixed asset registers, control account reconciliations, prepayments, accruals and other routine journal entries.
Handle incoming and outgoing post and email communications.
Prepare VAT returns.
Prepare Self-Assessment Tax Returns.
Training:Apprentices will be required to attend college at least x1 day per week either at Uxbridge, Harrow or Hayes Campus completing necessary mandatory training and units associated with the apprenticeship.
The apprentice will be required to complete:
Work towards gaining a full Qualification.
Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours.
Standard and End Point Assessment.
