We are currently working with a Vehicle Manufacturer based in Doncaster, who are seeking a skilled and professional Vehicle Spray Painter to join their growing team, specialising in the preparation and refinishing of commercial vans. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in automotive paintwork who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes on time and to specification.
As a Vehicle Spray Painter, you will play a key role in supporting our production output and upholding the high standards our clients expect.
Key Duties of the Vehicle Spray Painter:
Prepare vehicle surfaces for paint application, including thorough cleaning, sanding, and masking
Mix paint materials accurately to match colour and texture specifications using two-pack paint systems
Apply paint using spray guns and appropriate techniques, ensuring an even, high-quality finish
Monitor drying times and make adjustments in line with technical requirements
Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant workspace, including spray equipment upkeep
Experience with Speed Lining or similar protective coatings is highly advantageous
What we need from you for the Vehicle Spray Painter role:
Demonstrable experience in commercial vehicle painting, bodyshop work, or SMART repairs
Sound knowledge of paint mixing, matching, and application techniques
Proficient in the use of spray guns and workshop paint systems
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistent results

The caseload in this role is a real mix of transactional and non-transactional matters including shares and asset management, sales and acquisitions, MBOs/MBIs, corporate finance, restructuring, startups, shareholder/partnership arrangements, commercial and consumer contracts, ecommerce and IP.
Ideally they are looking to recruit a senior solicitor with corporate and/or commercial experience who has got the drive and enthusiasm to lead a team. You will naturally have strong business development skills and thrive on relationship building. If however you feel you aren’t quite ready for this step up but it’s somewhere you feel you could be in the next few years please do still give us a call as there is a really strong career path here with some excellent training and no better mentor.
