What will you do this year?
In your role as Manager - Playland Attractions Maintenance, your primary accountabilities will be to:
Oversee various projects on the Playland site; inclusive of building maintenance, technical oversight of inspections, general maintenance, set-up, and teardown of over 30 rides.
Lead and co-manage direct reports consisting of full-time and casual Facilities & Maintenance staff (including Ride Technicians, and various tradespersons).
Support development of a 3-5-year strategic asset management and site maintenance plan for Playland.
Implement preventative and predictive maintenance schedules, and regularly review programs for improvement.
Maintain and update training programs and manuals for staff; ensure understanding of policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Create, document, and implement safe work procedures that adhere to OHS regulation for the safety of staff.
Ensure maintenance program for all attraction assets are in compliance with both manufacturer guidelines and Technical Safety BC requirements.
Provide strategic direction pertaining to asset management (rides, attractions, buildings, temporary event structures) and maintenance, inclusive of capital project recommendations.
Liaise with Technical Safety BC and ride safety consultants regarding ride inspections and installations; implement their directives and submit confirmation of corrective actions.
Conduct and document risk/hazard assessments and daily ride inspections to ensure guest safety on site, document and ensure completion of recommended corrective actions.
Work within set budgets and maintain established timelines for project completion.
Lead and develop a responsive and highly skilled team while fostering the PNE core values of enthusiasm, excellence and evolution; notably focusing on staff engagement, empowerment and accountability.
Perform crew talks and instill a safety culture within the team and across the site.
Administer Collective Agreement pertaining to Full-time and Casual staff with support from the People & Culture Department, including employee issues, investigations and discipline.
Act as the On Duty Maintenance Manager or Park Manager for Playland during the operating season.
May be required to respond to operational issues at any time of the day or night.
Performs other duties as required.
What else?
5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in providing leadership and managing preventative maintenance programs, mechanical or construction work, project management OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 5 years' experience managing large teams of ticketed staff, with a proven ability to effectively engage personnel in the construction, maintenance, or engineering industries, is required.
Completion of a post-secondary degree/diploma/certificate in a relevant discipline (i.e. Project Management, Construction, Heavy Duty Mechanic, Mechanical Engineering, Millwright, Occupational Health & Safety etc.); OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Red Seal Certification is considered an asset.
Sound knowledge of construction, engineering, and maintenance practices, procedures and regulations, including cost estimating, scheduling, licensing and permits/approvals.
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including zoom boom, forklift, crane, scissor lift etc.
Ability to effectively communicate with staff and other Department Managers, external contractors, government bodies etc.; ability to provide a strong corporate representation both internally and externally.
Proven ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines with a safety-first mind-set.
Strong organization, leadership, communication, and planning skills.
Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency with various computer applications particularly Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, data processing and budget tracking, purchasing and work order creation.
Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines while maintaining a safety-first mind-set.
Ability to function independently and manage various projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and weekdays; including early mornings and late nights as required.
Applied knowledge of related legislation such as OH&S regulations, WorksafeBC (Worker's Compensation Act) regulations, Technical Safety BC, ASTM and CSA standards is preferred.
Background working within a unionized environment and proven experience with administering Collective Agreements is considered an asset.

Additional Information
The PNE's compensation offerings are in alignment with a pay-for-performance pay philosophy that recognizes individual, and teamwork performance. The role is a permanent, full-time position with a typical salary range of $100,000 - $120,000 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate's competencies, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, experience, and internal pay structures. As a part of the PNE's total compensation package, this position may be eligible for other benefits subject to program eligibility requirements.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Content Marketing Specialist assists in the development and curation of technical marketing content to ensure thought leadership, engage customers, drive leads and achieve Tremco CPG brands' business goals in the construction and architecture sectors. The Content Marketing Specialist must be a skilled writer with the ability to strike a balance between precise technical writing and creative storytelling to educate our target audiences about building science and our roofing, HVAC, structural framing, exterior facades, waterproofing and other building material solutions.
The Content Marketing Specialist must be able to produce written content that is accessible across online and print platforms and utilize digital measurement tools and platforms to evaluate content performance.
This is a hybrid role working out of the Houston office several days a week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with the Content Marketing Manager to:
Develop the annual content marketing plan;
Establish metrics for measuring the performance of specific pieces of content as well as campaigns and the overall content program; and
Utilize data to adjust content strategy as needed.
Collaborates with/interviews internal and external subject matter experts (For example, Product Line Management, Technical Services, Design Engineering, and Sales.) to draft and edit technical content pieces that engage key audiences, increase website traffic and ultimately drive leads. Content types include, but are not limited to, blog posts, white papers, articles, e-books, project profiles, presentations/webinars, and industry award submissions.
Repurposes content in a variety of formats for different audiences and platform preferences. Examples include brainstorming how educational articles can be turned into short-form social media posts or converting a webinar into a blog article.
Identifies appropriate topics for new content development through a variety of methods including collaborating with our SEO Specialist and Social Media Specialist, conducting online research, reading print and digital industry publications, attending trade shows, and monitoring competitor and industry association activities.
Solicits content contributions from third parties, including architects, consultants, specifiers and contractors, to draft, edit and disseminate these works.
Assists with internal communication projects as needed.
Develops and coordinates cross-channel content campaigns in alignment with the Marcom Specialists and Digital Marketing team.
Publishes content with related photos and videos to brand websites through our CMS system, Kentico.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
2-4 years' experience in copywriting, digital marketing, social media or content marketing where most of the time was spent writing and editing content for a technical audience.
Experience in construction, architecture, building materials, or a related industry is preferred but not required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Priority consideration will be given to candidates with relevant certifications such as HubSpot Content Marketing and Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce Certificates (preferred, not required)

The Role of the Regional Sales Manager
The main element of the role as the new Regional Sales Manager is to promote and sell the blood glucose monitor, downloadable software and the pen needles and manage a team of reps that cover the East of the country.
The team sell into GP's Surgeries, Meds Management and Hospitals.
Assist the National Sales Manager with the establishment of sales objectives through forecasting and the development of sales quotas for the region and individual territories.
Liaise with appropriate CCG stakeholder contacts including commissioning and medicines management to identify new formulary guidance inclusion opportunities and general business development.

Senior Financial Analyst - Construction
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance business. The Tremco Roofing business that manufactures roofing materials, and the WTI/WTC service business offers comprehensive roofing and general contracting services to building owners and facility managers in the United States and Canada. Candidates should possess strong financial and analytical skills. This role is a remote and/or hybrid position and reports to the Tremco Roofing Finance Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare reporting and analysis of financial data for Roofing, WTI, and WTC businesses Assist in developing the annual budget for Roofing, WTI, and WTC businesses Prepare monthly commission accrual and monthly analysis, reporting and audits on commission Prepare sales and profitability reports for regions and sales representatives Prepare sales tracking to determine sales group levels and incentives Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for month-end close Partner with business to understand and improve operations and financials Drive efficiency by creating and maintaining Power BI reports for sales and profitability reporting Perform ad hoc assigned tasks, including special projects and analysis to support the business
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree from four or 5-year college or university
EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting or related field Previous experience in construction industry preferred, with knowledge of revenue recognition related to service contracts (ASC 606) Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in SAP ERP system and Microsoft Excel Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
CPA license a plus
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate analysis and reports. Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, research discrepancies, and propose solutions. Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and US GAAP.

Groundworkers are employed on construction sites that involve ground preparation such as, foundations or footing for new buildings. Your day-to-day tasks may include:
Ground working – marking out and digging shallow trenches for foundations and drains
Form working – putting up or dismantling the shuttering that holds setting concrete in place
Installing drainage and manholes
Concreting
Minor road working – laying kerbs, paving and re-surfacing
Using hand tools and small plant machinery
Training:You will achieve the Level 2 Groundworker Apprenticeship Standard by attending CP Assessments Training Centre in Denaby Main, Doncaster to undertake 7 block-release training sessions (4 days), every 10 - 12 weeks.
The successful candidate will work towards achieving Functional Skills Level 2 in both Maths and English if they have not achieved this prior or have an equivalent.
Apprentices will also get an Apprentice CSCS card which can be upgraded on completion of the apprenticeship.Training Outcome:This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to start their career with a highly reputable and well-established company.
