Everyone Active are looking for enthusiastic and energetic candidates to work towards their Leisure Team Member Level 2 apprenticeship over the course of 15 months. Your duties will include:
Provide exceptional customer service to all members
Assisting with gym tours and inductions
Covering lifeguard positions
Support the centre swim teaching team to deliver exceptional swimming lessons
Adopting a customer service-focused approach to your responsibilities
Showing members how to use the gym equipment and machines
Creating personal exercise places for members
Understanding health, safety and welfare in a fitness environment
Support and motivate clients who take part in physical activity
Safe and effective pool supervision
Equipment setups safely and on time
Effective communication with other team members
You will work a combination of gym and leisure side hours whilst working within the centre. Please be aware, this will also include working on the reception desk when required.

This is a full-time position, and you will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week on a shift basis at your designated centre. Providing support for pupils, teachers and the whole school
Assisting individual pupils or small groups of pupils in classroom activities under the specific direction of the teacher and/or other support staff.
Assisting in ensuring that the length of time spent on tasks and activities is consistent with the individual pupil's needs and according to instructions.
Supervising the use of equipment as required to maintain pupils' needs, and support their participation in learning tasks and activities.
Understanding and implementing targets appropriate to pupils’ needs.
Assisting in the preparation of learning materials and the management of resources.
Overseeing the care and cleanliness of the teaching environment, equipment, apparatus and materials.
Assisting in the preparation of display materials.
Supporting teaching staff or senior colleagues with routine administration.
Attending and participating in training and development activities as required.
Participating in professional development and review.
Assisting teaching staff or senior colleagues in escorting pupils home as and when required, as directed by the teaching staff.
Attending meetings, liaising and communicating with colleagues in the school, outside agencies and other relevant bodies.
Being an effective role model for the standards of behaviour expected of pupils.
Having due regard to confidentiality, child protection procedures, health and safety, other statutory requirements and the policies of the Local Academy Council and IRIS Learning Trust.

Duties will include:
Excellent communication and enthusiasm will be key in supporting all pupils to progress, achieve and overcome any obstacles
You will support all areas of the curriculum including English, mathematics and Computing within the classroom
You will also accompany teaching staff and pupils on trips and other out-of-school activities
You will act as a role model for pupils and be a positive influence on their behaviour and performance at school
You will be required to assist with:
Supervising and supporting pupils with special educational needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning
Encourage pupils to act as independently as appropriate
Support with toileting/changing
Prepare the classroom for learning, and clear away afterwards
Support in managing pupil behaviour, reporting any difficulties
Support pupils to understand instructions and follow routines
Support pupils in respect of school curriculum, e.g. Literacy, Numeracy, and Early Years, as directed by the teacher
Assist with the supervision of pupils out of lesson times, including at lunchtimes
Carrying out small group and 1:1 interventions
Create recourses
Accompany teaching staff and pupils on visits, trips and other out-of-school activities
Compliance with all necessary policies and procedures relating to child protection, equality and diversity, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person
