There are 2 homes based in IP7 and due to limited/no public transport, staff would need to be a driver or transport needs to be arranged accordingly due to picking up night shifts.
Below requirements are MUST for the staff to be selected for the shifts.
Must be a female aged over 21 (ideally over 25)
Mandatory training PLUS must be trained in safeguarding, first aid, medication, food hygiene, fire safety as a minimum
Be working towards or have achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Residential children’s homes, or equivalent as stated in Ofsted childrens homes quality standards.
Be confident in working alone in a challenging environment (working with females aged between 11-17 that have emotional and behavioural needs)
Preferably trained in Team Teach de-escalation and physical intervention – young people are extremely challenging.
