THE CANDIDATE
You will be an MEP Quantity Surveyor ideally electrically biased with good mechanical services knowledge.

You will ideally have some experience of using the NEC contract.
You should be able to use CostX or a similar billing programme for all MEP engineering services.

Training:This Apprenticeship ensures you complete on and off the job training elements for the standard and at the end of the journey will complete a level 3 apprenticeship as a machining technician.

Training for the role
Step 1 - You'll start with your initial military training that teaches you how to be a soldier. This will cover everything from fieldcraft to how to handle a rifle. If you join as a Junior Soldier (under 17 years and 6 months), you’ll do a 23-week basic military training course at Harrogate. If you join as a Regular Soldier (over 17 years and 6 months), you’ll do the regular 14-week adult basic training.
Step 2 - You then have basic Groundcrew and Communication training. After this, you can decide if you want to be a Groundcrew Specialist or a Communication Specialist. You learn how to prepare helicopters for missions. You also learn how to marshal and load aircraft. PURPOSE OF JOB:
To provide high quality cover for lessons, teaching lessons as outlined by absent teachers.
To supervise whole classes and give instructions for a lesson as provided for by a teacher.
