As our Night Shift Machine Operator, you will help Rust-Oleum deliver our product on time by operating, adjusting, and managing changeover on the line. THE OPPORTUNITY:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a broad and dynamic role that covers all aspects of the monthly accounting cycle, supporting both financial reporting and operational finance. You’ll be responsible for producing accurate management accounts across four divisions, delivering insightful MI, and supporting the wider team with budgeting, forecasting and transactional finance activities.
This role is ideal for a QBE, part-qualified, or qualified individual with strong Excel skills, Sage 50 experience (or similar), and a proactive, hard-working attitude. If you thrive in a varied role where no two days are the same, this could be a perfect fit. THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
As the Management Accountant, you’ll be reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with the Head of Finance.
Prepare monthly management accounts across four business divisions
Reviewing the existing process and implement improvements to the month end cycle to drive accuracy of reporting information and insights
Ensure timely and accurate posting of journals, accruals, and prepayments
Reconcile the balance sheet and maintain control accounts
Produce and analyse MI and performance data for senior management
Assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns
Support the wider finance function with transactional activities, including Purchase Ledger
Work closely with the Finance Manager to help update budgets and forecasts
Assisting with the Year End and External Audit process
Contribute to process improvements and system efficiency
Provide ad-hoc support across the team as needed
THE PERSON:
Qualified by Experience, part-qualified (AAT / CIMA / ACCA), or fully qualified, will all have considered for this position.
Must have experience in Management Accountant position or similar.
Comfortable producing full sets of management accounts with minimal supervision
Strong working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, lookups)
Experience with Sage 50 is desirable but not essential
Comfortable working in a fast-paced business
Confident, hard-working, and willing to roll up sleeves to help across the team
A proactive mindset, with good attention to detail and a can-do attitude
Full driving licence and own car is essential for commuting to the office

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Operates industrial blenders in accordance with established production schedules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects prior to production to ensure a clean, clear and safe work environment.
Reads and follows work orders and formulas to meet production specifications and schedules.
Examines materials, ingredients, or product per quality standards.
Weighs or measures materials, ingredients, and products per requirements.
Adds and mixes raw materials according to specifications.
Transfers materials, supplies, and products between work areas.
Discharges blenders of powder when necessary.
Ensures quality and conformity of blended products to meet standards.
Ensures equipment is set-up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after and between runs.
Completes cleaning logs and notifies quality control for hygiene testing.
Records operational and production data on specified forms/production documents.
Reports malfunctions to a supervisor and confirms proactive and routine maintenance.
Conducts on-going assessment of quality control and operational procedures.
Meets and/or exceed production goals and guidelines for daily/weekly production runs.
Observes plant safety rules and regulations at all times, reports all safety hazards in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely. There are three Production Operator levels (I, II, & III). The level will be determined by experience, ability to assume various roles on the plant floor, and demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and problem-solve machine issues resulting in efficient cycles and minimal downtime. The Production Operator will operate production equipment, including industrial blenders, in accordance with the established production schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform work in a safe manner by following all written and verbally communicated safety rules and procedures. Follow standard work procedures to operate and maintain assigned machine(s). Routinely meet or exceed production output rates per standards. Ensure product meets certain tolerances and specifications. Perform routine inspections per quality standards. Understand production instructions. Maintain accurate paperwork. Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects prior to production to ensure a clean, clear and safe work environment. Reads and follows work orders and formulas to meet production specifications and schedules. Examines materials, ingredients, or product per quality standards. Weighs or measures materials, ingredients, and products per requirements. Adds and mixes raw materials according to specifications. Transfers materials, supplies, and products between work areas. Discharges blenders of powder when necessary. Ensures quality and conformity of blended products to meet standards. Ensures equipment is set-up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after and between runs. Completes cleaning logs and notifies quality control for hygiene testing. Records operational and production data on specified forms/production documents. Reports malfunctions to a supervisor and confirms proactive and routine maintenance. Conducts on-going assessment of quality control and operational procedures.

Essential Functions
Advise HR and management on employment law issues, including hiring, performance management, terminations, wage and hour compliance, accommodations, and employee relations.
Partner with HR to draft, review and update employment-related documents such as offer letters, employment agreements, separation agreements, and employee handbooks.
Manage and respond to employment-related claims and administrative charges (EEOC, DOL, state agencies) and conduct internal investigations, as needed.

Collaborate with outside counsel on employment litigation and complex legal matters.
Assist with labor relations and union matters, as needed.
Provide support to other areas of the legal department, as needed (e.g., contracts, intellectual property, litigation, real estate and compliance).
Minimum Requirements
J.D. from an ABA accredited law school.
Admission to, and good standing with, at least one US state bar (or DC).
5+ years of legal experience, with a strong focus on employment law; in-house experience preferred.
Deep knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA).
Excellent judgment, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across departments.
Preferred Requirements
Experience in a corporate legal department or advising corporate clients.
Familiarity with international employment law.
Experience managing or advising on workplace investigations and compliance programs.
Ability to change gear quickly and provide service to a wide range of different needs, business models, and personality types.
Purposeful, results-focused, with well-developed prioritization skills.
Some travel (domestic and international) is required.
Physical Requirements
This position requires minimal physical activity but does require computer usage for an extended period - up to 8 hours a day.

The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $105,000 and $115,000. The range is an estimate based on potential employee qualification operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
