Maintain the Vault drawing system ensuring all procedures are followed.

During your apprenticeship, you’ll be embedded in Babcock's Skynet Service Delivery Wrap (SDW) programme. The Skynet system provides secure satellite communications to the UK and NATO armed forces, enabling personnel to stay connected anytime, in any environment, anywhere on Earth.
You’ll work four days a week from one of our key engineering locations – either Hawthorn (Corsham) or Oakhanger (Bordon) – where our teams help to maintain and modernise the UK’s sovereign space communications infrastructure. Accommodation expenses will be covered when travel away from your home base is necessary, including visits to Babcock locations such as Ashton House (Bristol).
As you progress, you’ll rotate through our Skynet SDW engineering teams, gaining insight into how each area supports the wider system. You’ll assist in a variety of technical tasks that grow in complexity as your skills and confidence develop. One day you might be supporting upgrades to communications systems on a Royal Navy warship; the next, testing advanced satellite devices or helping to redesign systems that integrate newly launched spacecraft. You may even help develop subsystem designs that enhance our satellite ground stations.

Training:

Electronics Engineer – Programme Manager - Medical Devices – Cambridge
Due to a growth in company output, there is a need for a new Programme Manager who has an Electronics Engineering pedigree. Based in Cambridge, you will be leading several projects. Some projects will involve you offering support and mentorship to junior members of staff, while other projects will involve you taking on the Electronics design aspects yourself.
We are looking for someone who has been working hands on developing new Medical Devices technologies in their current role, while mentoring other members of staff. Most projects will be on electro-mechanical Medical Devices, so you will need to have worked on these types of technologies. They could be implantable medical devices, wearable tech or another medical technology that abide by EN60601 standards.
Alongside past work experience, it is expected that you hold a relevant degree within a suitable subject that led you into a Medical Devices Electronics Engineering role. It would also be advantageous if you hold a master’s or PhD, but not essential as the active work experience in industry is more important.
The types of technologies you will be developing are lifesaving and life improving medical devices, truly industry disrupting technologies that will save and improve thousands of people’s lives.
This role will involve working with external and internal entities, involving a lot of communications both virtual and in real life, due to this it would be advantageous if you have worked in a role that involved communicating updates and project changes continuously.
I mentioned knowing about EN60601, but it would also be essential to have a strong understanding of ISO 13485.
People who have been successful in this role previously tend to have a highly technical hobby, this could be building drones, tinkering with engines, computer programming or another hobby that involves problem solving. If you do have such a hobby, make sure you highlight it on your CV to give you the best chance of gaining an interview.

Fugro are looking for an Engineer to join its Structural Monitoring team based in Aberdeen, part of the Fugro Marine Asset Integrity (MAI) business line.
The team is passionate about data and provides asset integrity solutions for offshore energy structures. We acquire, process and analyse Geo-Data to unlock insights, helping our clients manage their risk and ultimately creating a safe and liveable world.
The office is the centre of excellence within Fugro for the work and projects delivered worldwide in conjunction with other regional Fugro offices. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of projects, from design, through assembly and test, site work planning, to data processing and reporting. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Manufacturing Engineer's responsibilities are broad and include safety, product quality, process control, productivity improvement, and development of a LEAN culture. The Manufacturing Engineer is expected to spend a significant amount of time on the floor and lead large capital project teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safety
Assume a leadership position at the facility in partnership with the Plant Manager, Facilities & Engineering Manager and Shift Supervisors. Activities include resolution and communication regarding safety issues.
Execute on scheduled PHA's and JSA's.
Proactively monitor area and remediate potential safety issues.
Use DAKOTA software as a tool for compliance and environmental, health and safety. Use the tool to report incidents, near misses, and non-conformances.
LEAN Culture
Active participant in MS-168 Management Operating System.
Develop and execute upon "standard work" activities.
Continuous Improvement champion promoting and driving the "Small K" program.
Conduct "GEMBA Walks" daily. Use walks as the primary means of education and communication of expectations.
Improve productivity through elimination of non-value-added activities. Apply Engineering principles and methodologies to improve productivity and eliminate waste.
Maintain and continually improve the plant layout and flow.
Computer Software
Must be proficient in using 3D CAD and Adobe Photoshop software:
3D CAD.
Adobe Photoshop.
Microsoft Applications.
Product Quality
Work to maximize equipment efficiency and quality for output.
Assist in the training of operators with a focus on quality critical product specifications and process parameters.

Manages and coordinates large equipment installations and process implementations.
EDUCATION:

Must have experience in both practical Manufacturing Engineering and Project Management.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Six Sigma Green Belt.
