Pre-weigh Personnel (Job Description)
Scope:
Pre-Weight personnel are responsible for having product formulas properly weighed for production mixing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands, in order to ensure conformance to established standards • Move products, materials, or equipment between work areas. • Communicating with Supervisors or Peers • Package products for storage or shipment. • Select and measure or weigh ingredients, using English or metric measures and balance scales. • Follow formulas to produce food products to meet customers specified. • Operate or tend machines to mix or blend any of a wide variety of food products. • Read work orders to determine production specifications and information • Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery and equipment. • Record operational and production data on specified forms • Maintain a clean work area • Frequently Walk; Reach with hands and arms; the employee is regularly stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; Talk, hear. • Perform all work in accordance with GMP's, housekeeping, good safety practices, and environmental regulations. • Adheres to all safety and quality procedures/regulations
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
• Must possess good reading, writing and math skills. • Must always be safety conscious • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. • Capable of working independently • Ability to follow directions and procedures accurately
Education and Experience:
• Education: High school diploma.

Training:Course overview
The role covers a wide range of common and job-specific skill sets that can be transferred across the manufacturing engineering industry sectors during apprentices’ future careers. Dependent on the sector that they are employed in, there may be subtle differences in terms of composition and application of the job role-specific skills and knowledge they will require; however, the core skills and knowledge will be the
same regardless of the sector/area they work in.
Duration:• 13 months practical training period, plus 3 months for End Point Assessment
Delivery model:• Work-based training with your employer• Day release during term time (approximately 2 days a week for 1 year)• Approximately 12 on-site assessment visits per year• Off-the-job training will count for at least 6 hours a week of an apprentice’s time at work

As a Dental Nurse Apprentice, you will begin by observing and learning essential procedures under the guidance of the Lead Dental Nurse, progressing to hands-on tasks as your skills and confidence grow. Your day to day duties will include:
Working towards the completion of your regulated, certified Dental Nurse qualification.
Attending all scheduled online college sessions to support your academic progress.
Maintaining cleanliness, tidiness, and sterilisation of clinical areas, equipment, and instruments in line with health & safety and infection control policies.
Operating dental equipment safely and correctly, ensuring regular maintenance and reporting any issues.
Providing chairside assistance to dentists, ensuring instruments and materials are ready for procedures.

Accurately updating patient records and handling materials in line with safety guidelines (including COSHH and PPE regulations).

Training:On a Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship
You will work towards achieving the Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship Standard, a qualification approved by the General Dental Council (GDC) for entry to the professional register as a Dental Nurse.
Knowledge and Skills Gained:
Understanding of dental anatomy, infection control, oral health promotion, and clinical procedures
Practical experience providing chairside support, preparing equipment, and assisting with patient care
Competence in record-keeping, handling materials, and following health and safety regulations (e.g., PPE, COSHH, cross-infection control)
Communication skills for interacting effectively with patients and the dental team
On-the-Job and Off-the-Job Training:
80% on-the-job: Hands-on experience in the dental practice
20% off-the-job: Paid study time, which combines online learning one day a week with hands-on clinical training in our in-house dental suite at Matthew Boulton College
Training Outcome:Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is the potential to progress into a full-time Dental Nurse role within the practice.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Rust-Oleum Corporation is a worldwide leader in protective paints and coatings for both home and industry. The primary result expected from the Process Engineer is to control internal processes to manufacture paint and paint products by defining and analyzing the manufacturing process of both milling and filling operations for improvement in quality, safety, and efficiency, and creating, improving, and maintaining manufacturing Process Instructions (PI) and salvage/rework integration.
Tasks PROFILE:
Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following: Develop safety procedures to be employed by workers operating equipment or working in close proximity to on-going chemical reactions. Troubleshoot problems with chemical manufacturing processes. Evaluate chemical equipment and processes to identify ways to optimize performance or to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Conduct research to develop new and improved chemical manufacturing processes. Determine most effective arrangement of operations such as mixing, crushing, heat transfer, distillation, and drying. Perform tests and monitor performance of processes throughout stages of production to determine degree of control over variables such as temperature, density, specific gravity, and pressure. Design and plan layout of equipment. Prepare estimate of production costs and production progress reports for management. Design measurement and control systems for chemical plants based on data collected in laboratory experiments and in pilot plant operations. Develop processes to separate components of liquids or gases or generate electrical currents using controlled chemical processes.

Attend any training deemed necessary to develop your career and improve performance. To work as part of a team but also use own initiative.
Be willing to undertake Level 2 Early Years Practitioner or Level 3 Early Years Educator.
You will not be expected to take full key worker responsibility until induction training and support has been provided by the manager.Training Outcome:After successful completion of the Level 2 or Level 3 qualification, further training opportunities may be available. After qualifying, a full-time position may not be available with this company.
