Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager to work for our client based in Birmingham.We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Manager to lead the support and accommodation team, providing care for children and young people aged 16 – 18 with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD). The successful candidate will oversee the management of all aspects of the facility, ensuring the highest standards of support, safety and individualised care. This role requires a proactive leader capable of building a nurturing and supportive environment while working collaboratively with staff and external stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for the young people in care.Salary: £47,000 per annumDuties of a Registered Manager will include:

Skills of a Registered Manager required:
Extensive experience supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)Proven leadership and team management abilities to inspire and guide staff effectively.Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and regulatory requirements in care servicesAbility to develop and implement individualised support plans with a focus on positive outcomesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with young people, families, staff, and external stakeholdersProblem-solving and resilience to handle challenges with a calm and solution-focused approachKnowledge of therapeutic and trauma-informed care methods
In order to be considered for the role of Registered Manager:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role within children’s residential care, supported accommodation, or a related settingRelevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalentComprehensive knowledge of safeguarding protocols, Children’s Homes Regulations, and other applicable legislationExperience leading teams and managing care for children with Emotional and Behavioural DifficultiesAdditional training in therapeutic or trauma-informed care approaches is highly desirable
