Monitoring the Debtors Ledger & Creditors Ledger to ensure timely collections & payments
Calling customers (debtors) for all unpaid invoices
Flagging overdue accounts & following up on any delays in payments/collections
Financial Reporting
Assisting with Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports by ensuring all income, expenses, assets, and liabilities are accurately recorded
Posting journal entries to the nominal ledger to maintain up-to-date financial records
Invoices & Reconciliation
Reviewing & processing supplier & pro forma invoices
Reconciling supplier statements against recorded invoices
Performing credit card reconciliations, checking company credit card statements against internal records for any missing/incorrect entries
Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure all bank transactions are accounted for and investigating any discrepancies
Expenses & Provisions
Reviewing & approving employee expense claims & company credit card spend, ensuring they follow internal policies
Managing expenses
Calculating asset depreciation & setting up provisions for future liabilities as part of month-end routines
Procurement Support
Assisting company procurement/purchasing needs & ensuring goods/services are ordered in line with company needs
Reviewing & collating requisitions for Finance Manager approval
Admin & Communication
Handling incoming calls & customer queries
Monitoring and responding to emails from the company’s accounts inbox
Maintaining organised digital & physical records of financial documentation
Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training
Training:Working towards your Level 2 AAT Qualification, you’ll attend monthly online 1-2-1 meetings (online via Teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your Tutor to learn Modules including general business, understanding your organisation, accounting systems & processes, basic accounting & ethical standards. You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.

As part of this apprenticeship, you'll work towards a Production Chef - Level 2 qualification. The training will be delivered in the form of work-based learning and will include functional skills.

Building Services installer, look after and fix the commercial heating / chilled and Domestic Water inside and outside buildings.
The exact job depends on the project you will be working on, though all Building Services installer have the skills and knowledge to get the job done properly and safely.

As a Process Technician, you will:
Perform all duties in compliance with all Venator Corporate and Venator Pigments EHS, business conduct policies, guidelines and the local site Life Saving Rules at all times. Complete all Corporate Compliance training.
Monitor and control the operation of process plants to ensure that process parameters are maintained within accepted limits.
Analyse minor processing and equipment problems in order effect solutions.
Control the offloading of raw materials from external suppliers into the plant, and the loading of intermediate product from the plant into Road Tankers prior to transport.
Take samples of process intermediates and carry out on plant testing as required by quality control systems.
Advise and brief Senior Technicians on emerging plant situations and manage process upsets in a safe, timely and effective manner.
Ensure completion of scheduled surveys and reports including standard work activities, check sheets etc.
Prepare the plant for Intrusive Maintenance via completion of the appropriate isolation and preparation procedures in line with our Safe Systems of Work.
