As a Process Technician, you will:

This role is within a successful Civil Engineering consultancy. As the Civil Engineering Technician Apprentice you will be:
Working on a wide variety of residential and commercial projects
Will be responsible for assisting in the production of highways, drainage designs, transport assessments, flood risk assessments
You will be responsible for preparing designs using computer aided drafting CAD and other software
Training:You will develop the necessary Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours to be a competent Civil Engineer, these will include:
The different techniques and methods used to design, build and maintain civil engineering projects
The appropriate scientific, technical and engineering principles relating to the design, delivery and maintenance of infrastructure and buildings
The code of conduct of relevant professional bodies and institutions including ethics
Safe working practices and how to comply with them
Sustainable development and their own contribution to economic, environmental and social wellbeing
Work with others to contribute to produce integrated engineering solutions by the correct use of resources and time
Be professional, proactive and receptive to constructive advice and guidance
Be willing to learn new skills and to adapt in the light of experience
Training Outcome:
Gaining the experience of working with a busy practice will give any apprentice the practical tools they need in their future career and the confidence to work for and alongside engineers and technicians at all levels
