The apprenticeship is designed to provide hands-on experience across two key areas of finance. Controllership: Learn the fundamentals of financial accounting, reporting, and core financial processes.FP&A: Develop skills in management accounting, commercial analysis, and strategic reporting. This rotational programme offers a strong foundation for a career in finance, combining technical knowledge with commercial insight.
Controllership:
Assist the Controllership team with month's end close. Focusing on accurate transactional reporting and ensuring accounting treatment in line with reporting standards.
Supporting the OPEX budget preparation and monthly variance reporting, including management reporting with commentary.
Supporting the review of the annual CAPEX spend, ensuring within budget, in line with accounting standards and supporting any compliance requirements.
Support the operational finance activities, including accounts receivable, travel & expenses and accounts payable, ensuring accurate reporting in within budget.
Assist revenue reporting in line with accounting standards.
Support balance sheet preparation within SOX requirements.
Support the year-end audit and preparation of the annual financial statements for our reporting entities.
Support the Controllership team to deliver in line with KPIs and maintain high standards.
FP&A:
Assist in the preparation of the FP&A monthly close, focusing on value generation on behalf of both members, analysing variances to plan & forecast, providing detailed explanations for variances.
Assist in improving and automating the current FP&A reporting and any new reporting that becomes useful as the business evolves
Prepare monthly presentations for the wider ClarusONE business to help them understand performance
Support the FP&A Senior Manager on evolving planning methods for the ClarusONE
Continue to drive new metrics and KPIs to measure ClarusONE success, both through our more traditional measures as well as at a broader Enterprise level.

Responsible to the Operations Manager, duties will range with mentoring and support from:

Systems Support Responsibilities
User Support & Troubleshooting
Main business liaison for end-users as it pertains to WTI/C technology solutions. First level diagnostics and resolution for issues related to mobile apps, scheduling, integrations, and data sync. Issue/ Error log management.
System Monitoring & Incident Management
Monitor system health, performance, and connectivity in partnership with corporate IT. Proactively identify issues or potential issues and escalate to the appropriate team(s) for recurring or critical issues. Monitor and follow-up on escalated issues. If required, identify, implement and train on any required workarounds until issues are resolved. Log, track, and resolve support tickets from Service Now or other communication methods. Maintain documentation of issues and resolutions for analytics.
Mobile App Support
Assist end users with mobile app setup, usage, and troubleshooting. If/When applicable, ensure proper syncing between mobile and backend systems.
Testing & Validation
Support testing of new features, patches, and integrations in partnership with Corporate IT. Help communicate and validate bug fixes prior to system updates before deployment. For 7 years, Sophie has managed all aspects of the business, and the apprentice will be the first full time employee, with an opportunity to shape company culture. From 2025, the new team will launch online courses to make sleep advice more accessible. All aspects of building an online business need to be considered, from optimising the website, to writing newsletters, building sales funnels, creating and evaluating paid ads, email marketing, and producing YouTube and Instagram content.
This is a role that will suit an independent self-starter, who can bring their own ideas and energy to the role. Some experience of video production is essential. Email marketing experience is preferred. However, more important than experience is a ‘can do’ attitude, caring about people and a willingness to learn.Working Hours :Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00.
