During term time, you will be based at various schools and pre schools, delivering lunchtime sports clubs, assisting lead coaches with PE lessons and leading your own sports or activity sessions during after school clubs

Sharon holds a BA Honours degree in Childhood Studies and Early Years Teachers Status and has the support of her team of highly trained professionals who hold early years qualifications starting at Level 2 through to Level 5 and BA Honours degrees. As well, through the Apprenticeship training programme, we train unqualified staff of all ages. Each room has an appointed room leader who is experienced within the age group they work closest to.
The nursery is run by the Nursery Manager with the support of the Deputy Manager. They support the whole team and work simultaneously to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to all our children and families.
Our enthusiastic and dedicated team of practitioners work together across all aspects of the nursery, supporting and mentoring each other. They have been chosen for their ability to provide the highest standards of care to each baby and child in their supervision, and their commitment to delivering an excellent service to the families who come to us. We are looking for an Apprentice/Apprentices that wish to start their career focussing in the Design and Print sector. Role dependant duties and requirements to include:
1. Learn to use various design software in order to create print ready files appropriate to the production Process. Use printer RIPS and other software to design graphics and print them
2. Learn and operate sheet fed colour digital printers, including basic maintenance.
3. Learn and operate wide format inkjet printers, including basic maintenance.
4. Learn and operate, including basic maintenance, workshop equipment involved in the manufacturing process.
5. Understand the various substrates used and understand their limitations and appropriate application to products.
6. Gain hands on experience of all aspects of print finishing for digital, wide format printing, signage manufacture and installation.
7. To have a positive, professional customer focussed attitude at all times.
8. Have effective communication skills, to be able to interact and build relationships with fellow colleagues, directors, third party suppliers and clients.
9. Be able to work under pressure as an individual and as part of a team, whilst maintaining quality and exceeding deadlines
10. Be punctual and presentable in company workwear at all times.
11. Maintain company confidentiality of information, and to comply with process requirements.
12. Participate in regular and ad-hoc meetings and liaison with team, departmental and institutional colleagues to ensure the successful business operation.
13. Undertake any necessary training and development required for the business or college, including appropriate health and safety courses
14. Must learn and follow policies and procedures as instructed.

Training:Advanced Apprenticeship Standard for Print Technicians (Level 3)
A full plan will be created at the start of the Apprenticeship to provide information as to what you will be studying and when. Learn2print will deliver the theoretical knowledge for your Print Apprenticeship. You will attend a class each month for one full day at a local venue (this information will be provided on interview) This teaching and training will cover everything from health and safety and general industrial practices to specific industry practices. This will lead you to preparation for your end point assessment, consisting of an online exam, professional discussion and observation in the workplace. You will be allocated a designated tutor and workplace mentor who will support and guide you through the Apprenticeship.Training Outcome:Full time permanent position within the company upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship. Apprentices play a crucial part in supporting the delivery of welfare and care in the early years. Supported by a suitably qualified early years' educator, you will interact and work with the children on a day-to-day basis, supporting the planning and delivery of play activities.
Please find below the duties and expectations of an early years practitioner apprentice:
Ensure the welfare and safety of children is promoted and report safeguarding issues and concerns to the person in charge
Support the planning and delivery of purposeful play activities in line with the early years foundation stage
Work with parents, colleagues and other agencies to ensure children’s individual needs are met
Support children to understand healthy life choices through engaging play activities
Take an active role in seeking out continuous professional development opportunities during the apprentices programme and beyond
Use communication and knowledge of child development to engage with children and support those requiring additional support
Support children who are experiencing transitions such as moving to school or the birth of a sibling, using your knowledge of the children to support them
Carry out respectful care routines such as feeding, nappy changing and dental care
Take an active part in the completion of their apprenticeship, meeting deadlines set by their trainer assessor and working with a dedicated mentor to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours
Support children’s numeracy, literacy and language through a range of play activities and opportunities
Your training assessor will meet with you regularly to provide teaching, learning and feedback from assessments completed. To support your progress, you will be required to complete a reflective journal of the learning you have undertaken and discuss this with your training assessor.Training:Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

To support the radiotherapy team with the day to day running of the radiotherapy department whilst developing skills and competencies to become an autonomous practitioner.
Take personal responsibility for ensuring that patients are always treated with courtesy, their individual needs are respected, and confidentiality is always maintained.
Be able to cannulate patients or be willing to undergo training in order to perform this duty.
Ensure patients are correctly identified, pregnancy checked and consented for treatment in accordance with IRMER, local radiation rules and department policy.
Training:During the apprenticeship period, you will spend 80% of your time working in a Radiotherapy Support Worker role as part of the Radiotherapy team and 20% of your time will be spent learning ‘off the job’ in dedicated learning activities. Training Outcome:On successful completion of the apprenticeship programme and upon registration as a Therapeutic Radiographer with HCPC, you will transition to the role of a newly qualified band 5 Therapeutic Radiographer.
