We are looking for somebody to join the team as a “blank canvas” and train them through business administration, basic accounts, assisting contract the management team. Its would be an all-encompassing role to cover all aspects of the business to ensure you know the business from top to bottom.
As well as college work to help you achieve your and our goals you will shadow and be given experience from each member of the team. We will also give you an overview of the engineering side of the business and show you the products we produce and their purpose to give you a greater level of confidence in your work.
At the start of the day the office will be busy with engineers getting their work for the day and bringing in information from the previous day, this will then follow on to processing their paperwork and preparing work files for invoicing. You will then be involved in the admin’ section speaking to clients and suppliers, raising jobs from clients instruction, updating clients via emails, telephone calls or producing spreadsheets, assisting in arranging the engineers workload diary, through to assisting in the accounts department raising sales invoices, raising plant/material purchase orders and processing incoming invoices and finally filing paperwork away.Training:Full Business Administrator Level 3 All training to take place at the employer's premises.Training Outcome:We are looking at this to be a permanent role, the same as our engineering apprentices have been. As an apprentice, you will receive guidance from Tiger Trailers' mentors to support your development in assembly, body build, paint, PDI, and stores. This role is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of trailer manufacturing and help you build the skills necessary to excel in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to health and safety (H&S) regulations and processes to maintain safe working practices throughout the factory.
Assist in all stages of the build process across various departments within the factory.
Learn to safely operate and maintain power/air tools.
Use power/air tools to assist with assembly tasks such as cutting, drilling, screwing, and fixing.
Follow instructions and work efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
Learn welding techniques and safety procedures under supervision.
Support manual handling of build components to assist with production.
Assist in preparing metal parts by cleaning, measuring, and aligning two or more components.
Perform quality checks on assembled components to ensure standards are met.
Participate in hands-on training, as well as any classroom or workshop activities.
Work closely with mentors and the leadership team to develop not only task-specific skills but also professional conduct in the workplace.
