Teach Plus are currently working with one of the largest schools in the area, who are looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be required to:
Lead and deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 in the absence of the class teacher
Support pupils with a range of needs, including SEN, EAL, and those requiring additional academic or behavioural support
Work closely with teachers to plan, prepare, and assess learning activities under direction
Deliver targeted interventions and small group support to help close attainment gaps
The ideal candidate for this Higher Level Teaching Assistant role will have:
HLTA status or relevant qualification (e.g. Level 4 Teaching Assistant or equivalent)
Extensive experience of working with children with Autism
Ability to lead whole-class lessons in the absence of the teacher
Experience supporting children with demand avoidance
A calming nature when responding to challenging behaviour

To support and co-operate with the wider admission team to ensure the provision of an effective and efficient admissions service for GBS.
Contributing a vital service to support GBS in meeting its targets for recruitment across all programmes.
To maintain accurate records in accordance with GBS requirements, ensuring compliance and maintenance of relevant systems.

Teach Plus UK are working with a primary schools located across London, who are currently seeking Graduate Teaching Assistant’s to join them ASAP.
Graduate Teaching Assistants are required to support in class with children’s learning, deliver interventions to small groups of children and on occasion, cover the class in the teacher’s absence.
The school’s that we work with are able to offer continued career development, further training and support throughout your role. There are opportunities to develop into Higher Level Teaching Assistants and some schools do support with teacher training placements, once you have worked at the school for at least one year.
