To ensure the completion of your apprenticeship seeking help from your mentor where needed
To constantly develop and maintain an educational play framework in line with the EYFS. Supporting children to be safe while having fun.
Observe and support children’s learning
Take responsibility for any “key children” as allocated and within pre-agreed timescales.
Develop and maintain highly professional working relationships with team members, advisory teachers and other agencies that may visit the setting
To use initiative to develop and advance both the children and the setting
To follow nursery procedures and policies

As an Operations Support Apprentice, you will be embarking on a brilliant career path, where you can trial various different parts of the business and work with your strengths. Daily duties could include but not limited to:
Understanding plant operations and processes
Checking quality of materials coming into and leaving site
Working alongside health and safety and compliance
Driving plant vehicles around site
General housekeeping duties
Small engineering and preventative tasks
You will also be completing a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Lean Manufacturing. This will involve some home study, and attending teaching sessions once a month, where you will be expected to meet your tutor at URM sites in Knottingley, Doncaster and South Kirkby (alternate).
Working in glass recycling can be a surprisingly dynamic job, physically demanding at times but ultimately a very rewarding job. It's a hands-on role that requires focus and stamina, a high level of skill, knowledge, and a strong adherence to safety protocols. It involves operating complex equipment and gaining licences in plant vehicles, as well as maintenance and preventative tasks. While the environment can be noisy and occasionally smelly, there's a real sense of contributing to a sustainable future knowing you're diverting valuable resources from landfills and helping to create a cleaner planet.Training:

The working week will be spent working within various sectors throughout our service centre including machining and bench fitting, welding, electrics, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, balancing, assembly & testing. You will be given thorough guidance and training in each of the sectors. Following this your duties will include :
Cleaning of equipment to service/repair, including jet washing and chemical cleaning.
Use of technical drawings to assist in disassembly and re-assembly.

Training:Your apprenticeship will be led by our training provider SIGTA Ltd who will manage your apprenticeship program through regular visits from your Training Officer. Training:L2 Roofer apprenticeship standard
This occupation involves installing a range of roofing materials and products at height. It includes interpreting drawings, measuring and calculating the required amount of materials. Roofing work can involve anything from repairing a single tile or slate on a domestic property, to re-roofing public buildings such as schools, working on new build housing projects, or installing the roof on large commercial buildings. Roofers can be on site from a few hours to a few weeks so this occupation should suit those who like to move workplaces on a regular basis. The work is varied and would suit individuals who prefer working outside.
This is a core and options apprenticeship, with three options:
Option 1: A Roof Slater and Tiler works on a building site, or in domestic or commercial premises, installing slate and tile roof coverings and related products to both new and existing buildings.
Your training with be held at Construction College Midlands (Birmingham - B30 3JH) in two week block periods.
