Typically, this person will provide hands-on support and management of both corporate and customer-managed IT infrastructure, playing a key role in maintaining high availability of systems and ensuring the security and performance of the IT environment. They will also contribute to IT projects, disaster recovery planning, and ongoing infrastructure improvements.

Duties and responsibilities of the IT Infrastructure Support Engineer:
Build, maintain, and support both physical and virtual environments, including network storage, backup and recovery systems.
Support IT infrastructure across HQ, remote offices, and customer sites, ensuring seamless integration.
Ensure server builds and networks comply with internal and customer IT security policies and accreditation standards.
Maintain software compliance and licensing records, including regular audits.
Monitor performance and usage of systems, ensuring optimal operation.
Manage email infrastructure including Microsoft Exchange, cloud services, spam filtering, and MDM.
Support IT Hosting and Security Infrastructure including storage, virtualization, antivirus, patch management, and web filtering.
Provide telephony support and assist with equipment installation.
Deliver user and customer support, including participation in a 24/7 on-call rota.
Support disaster recovery readiness and contribute to IT strategy and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and requirements for the IT Infrastructure Support Engineer:
HND/Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
In-depth experience with VMware virtual environments.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, spam filtering, and continuity services.
Core Windows OS administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell.
Server and storage hardware expertise (NAS/SAN).
Strong understanding of IT Security and High Availability environments.
Solid foundation in IP networking.
Must be eligible for and able to pass SC (Security Check) clearance.
Must be willing to undertake and complete a 6-month probationary period.
Desirable:
Linux experience.
Familiarity with Blackberry UEM or MDM platforms.
Experience with IP telephony systems.
SNMP monitoring tools.

The Role - CNC Service Engineer:
- Working on 5-axis CNC Machine Tools
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment used in the production of cooling holes for Turbine blades, etc.
- Performing basic troubleshooting, installation, calibration, and maintenance of EDM, Laser, and STEM equipment.
- Completing preventative maintenance tasks and providing training courses both on-site and in-house.
- Carrying out axis alignments to ensure correct operation and functionality of the machines.
- Maintaining communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
- Identifying and participating in sales opportunities such as new contracts, contract renewals, and spare parts sales.
- Meeting Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety, and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated.
- Performing approximately 60% mechanical and 40% electrical work, with some pneumatics. Ability to read circuit diagrams would be an advantage.
- Periodic overnight and overseas travel will be required

Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Field Engineer:
- Experience working with CNCs including motors, drives, axis alignment and setup.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electro-mechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
- Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues in an easy to understand manner.

Position Summary:
Travels to field job sites giving routine guidance and assistance with job startups, coating inspection and problems encountered on the job. Assists in routine in-house work such as product evaluations, equipment maintenance, panel preparation, and other duties necessary for normal function of the department.
Essential Functions:
Preparation of panels prior to coating. Have a good understanding of the basic operation of hand tools, power tools, abrasive blast cabinet, and pin welder. To include minor maintenance of same. Provide documentation for panels which will be tested. Spray nuclear testing orders upon certification. Starting position in Field Service, will handle routine field jobs within capabilities. Contact customers/salesmen to gather pertinent data prior to field trips. Demonstrate proper use of mixing equipment, airless and conventional spray equipment, etc., to apply Carboline products in the assigned divisions. Interpret surface preparation standards per specifications. Demonstrate use and techniques involved with inspections equipment. Train supervisors, inspectors, and painters in the above technical areas. Assist in application of new or revised product evaluations, new equipment evaluations. Carry out procedures as defined in the Technical Service Procedures Manual. Perform additional duties as assigned Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, 2-year college Chemistry or minimum 5 years Technical Service experience. Valid driver's license. Valid Passport NACE Certified CIP preferred Level 1, NACE Level 2 or NACE Level 3, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires occasional physical activity. May require lifting up to 75 lbs. on occasion. May require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day. Be able to climb and meet the requirements of a 1A Ladder. Occasional exposure to various chemicals. Will require travel of 50% plus, including nighttime and weekends. Must be able to pass a respirator fit test & maintain respirator requirement.
