Food Packer/ Warehouse Operative

Position Overview:
As a Food Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our gourmet products are packed with precision and care. You will work in both fresh and freezer environments (with full PPE provided) to accurately pick and pack orders, operate machinery, and maintain high standards of quality control. A forklift license would be beneficial but not required.
Key Responsibilities:• Packing & Processing: Accurately pick and pack fresh and frozen orders in our temperature-controlled areas.• Machinery Operation: Operate various equipment, such as vacuum pack machines.• Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks to minimise waste and ensure product integrity.• Hygiene & Safety: Follow food hygiene standards and adhere to health and safety policies.• Flexibility: Assist in other areas as needed and be open to overtime during peak periods.• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organised work area, following all cleaning protocols.
Skills & Experience:• Previous Experience: Prior experience in production or packing is beneficial but not required.• Time Management: Punctual, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and comfortable working in a cold environment.• Flexibility: Willing to work additional hours during busy times.• Attention to Detail: Accurate, organised, and able to maintain high standards.• Communication: Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.• Team Player: Cooperative, willing to learn, and able to work independently when needed.• Motivation: A positive attitude and enthusiasm for the job are essential.

General Purpose:

Education & Experience

Physical Demands:
